My first car was an auto 2004 Acura TSX. I sold it when it had 360k but the thing still ran like a Swiss watch. Used it for deliveries and everything. 4 doors, 200hp, loads of space and trunk space. Fun fact here in Canada and USA I believe, the Accord V6 had a 6spd manual option aswell for both the sedan and coupe and oh boy does it really wake up the car compared to the 5at
Yeah with a 6spd it would be fantastic. Unfortunately that model is for US and Canada only - we only get the 5spd auto here which is horridly unreliable when it gets to higher k's
Just brought a 2008 V6 accord for mother (can’t get her into anything 4cyl). Never driven one before this one and must admit in the drive delivery it to her (100km away) I was impressed and the amount of grunt the 3.5 has. Quite a good engine and much more than she would ever need (she is a lead foot tho) and def caught me being surprise
Yeah the 3.5L ones go good man. You've bought the best shape imo, while the newer 2013-2017 ones with the 6spd auto look nicer they aren't as smooth and won't let you hold it in 1st gear with the paddles. They're just not a "sports" sedan
Forgot how much fun this video is. One of my mates just got a 2006 facelift V6 accord for his daily and we have been babbling on back and forth which is better. That vtec sound in the v6 is magnificent. Just wait until I get my reflash!

The US version of the euro (TSX) interior is much different. The base model comes with leather seats, sunroof, different shifter and instrument cluster. The stereo and climate control are also different. Other than that they are the same. Both of those cars are some of the best that honda has ever made. Enjoyed this video. Thanks.

I love your channel mate, I'm from the UK and I'm onto my 2nd Honda Accord (my first I kept for a record 13 years), now I've got the same car as yourself (colour wise :) ) but mine's automatic and is fully loaded, 2006 with Adaptive Cruise, Lane Assist, AND........ auto fold power mirrors (I had that added because I kept forgetting to press the fold button each time I got out of my car.....) so now, they just fold automatically when I lock the car with the key :). I personally have noticed my car feels a LOT more eager and sporty when it's engine oil is 1/2 way between the dipstick marks (honestly!). When I've had the car with oil to the maximum mark, the car feels that little bit more sluggish (oil and filter changes every 5000 miles). Been binge watching your channel. BTW, your car's bodywork including the underneath is amazing! Look after her!
Great video as always. I was going suggest you doing an intake manifold upgrade or gearbox swap for the euro R next but how about a simple brake upgrade. Throw in some good pads,some slotted dba t2 or t3 discs and a some braided brake lines with good fluid. Bet that would get some views. Or if you want to go all out spoon does a bolt on massive monoblock calliper for the cl9!

'the only thing with this car that's not great is, the brakes suck' mate I couldn't have agreed more, I'm always having to brake a little earlier just cos how bad the brakes are, but then again, you could possibly try to replace it with better brakes

Seeing how much you love your accord euro, you should really try swap it for a euroR! You'll get everything you have on your euro but better! And being able to own the almighty K20A is a dream!
The v6 needs a turbocharger and a manual box, with some stiffer suspension and sway bars. Or use NSX Style cams and deck the heads as much as you are able to bump up the comp
My CL9 front brakes are squeaking a bit and they are definitely not good, maybe because the car is quite heavy, I am planning to do a full brake upgrade but I have 200000 km on the counter so not sure how long it will last lol
Mine's done 180 - got plenty of life left I'm sure. Personally I don't really care too much about brakes so I haven't bothered to upgrade them, but at some point I'll probably get some CU2 calipers to help it stop a bit better.

Yeah I imagine with a honking great big v6 up there the weight distribution would be a bit off. Would certainly be quick though! Too bad we never got the CU4 here
The acceleration time for the V6 doesn't sound quite right. Not sure if its because of the specific car you tested but I have watched a few videos where its been reported 0-100 in 7 seconds or just under 7. My dad has the v6 also and it feels a lot faster than 8ish seconds.

Interior is different, and potentially the tsx's parts are made using imperial units for bolts and stuff coz its us market only? But tbh I don't know. Some parts are probably interchangeable. But aftermarket engine parts like exhausts and intakes definitely

@@GamingHistory. the car reaches 100 in second gear. it only ever needs to shift to a higher gear if needed. For normal driving can have the car in 'D' and it will pick the best gear 'Accord'ingly

The 03-07 v6 accord/ inspire is also offered in 6 speed manual in States. And waaaay quicker than 5 speed auto. I have the 07 sedan 6mt

Yeah not here. Only K24A3 for all models, but the jdm Accord Type S has the K24A2 as standard

The V6 with the 6-speed is much more quick revving than that 2.4 engine. Comes alive at 4,900 rpms and sub 6 seconds for the manual.
Haven't driven the Manual version as we don't get them here. But would be very interesting to see how it compares!

@@GamingHistory. It's only using gears 1 and 2 for the actual pull to 100kn/h so it doesn't really matter whether you do it in D or D3
@@GamingHistory. the car reaches 100 in second gear. it only ever needs to shift to a higher gear if needed. For normal driving can have the car in 'D' and it will pick the best gear 'Accord'ingly
