In today's episode of How to Not Suck at Star Wars Battlefront 2, we cover Darth Maul yet again. The version of Darth Maul we have in Star Wars Battlefront 2 is very different from the Maul of Battlefront 2 at launch. Today, I cover the very best strategies and setup for Darth Maul in Star Wars Battlefront II. Now that we have all of the Clone Wars heroes within Star Wars BF2 (Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous) the dynamic has changed, and so has the strategy!
The gameplay is of Star Wars Battlefront II, with some Heroes vs Villains, Strike and more! We'll be playing as Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Leia, Darth Maul and more!

I swear it's like we're playing different games at times. You're gliding across the map, wiping out everyone with ease.
Every time I pick a hero it's like every fucking gun on the enemy team instantly locks onto my head and kills me in seconds.

He can do a lot of damage, as he said he can clear out rooms. You just need to be good with him (not that km calling you bad)
How I learned to play Maul in HvV:
Spin attack towards enemy, spam attack, spin attack away, block, use choke when they're open, if they're not dead yet attack more.

With Maul having a block now and his star cards that gives you 3 spin attacks and the ability regen one, i almost literally cant be touched when playing as maul now
Nick Furious yeah i think with his block he should only have one to two spin attacks. it makes him inpossible to hit

John vandenheuvel if you’re a good/smart player it could be hard to hit maul but it’s also pretty hard to lose to one honestly. Just be patient and you’ll win the fight because his health is just very low.

Darth Maul has always been my favorite and I am glad when his saber throw was bugged that I kept practicing them anyway. Some of my favorite kills are hitting an anakin with a saber throw while he is trying to run away meanwhile I am emoting in another room.
I didn’t know if there were any youtubers who really covered this game. It’s nice to see that there is at least a few people who represent this small community. Keep posting videos.
Mauls speed and agility, plus his added block, makes him a great counter for anakin
Now that he has his block and constant barrage of attacks he’s dangerous to anakin
Silver Phoenix I mean swings slow so I imagine if you just spam swing on each other maul will chew him away
grievous vader or dooku are better to kill anakin. maul is better for killing blaster heroes or troopers tbh
blee po grievous is not a counter to anybody until his abilities are fixed. I could see him being very dangerous to anakin with thrust surge working but not rn

Not sure id go that far, but at least it's a better movie than The Phantom Menace.
We'd love to see hero guides on all the Heroes especially after their major rework coming this month.
Also, maybe worth mentioning which cards would be used if the Health Star Cards go away because they are talking about removing them for most heroes and making giving them all some kind of health on kill.
I don't think he needs to. When the rework is done, it allows for more customization of your choice as opposed to being held back by the health card taking up a slot.

Deadly Assassin1963 Han is fav overall but I got bored with him and only select him if my team really needs help in HvV. I try to sneak up on villains exchanged in saber combat and just pick them off. Once someone notices you detonite charge to knock them down while shooting in head, keep shooting while they charge you and keep your distance using rolls

Can you make videos on how to beat them as well? It's annoying having to deal with OP heros who use cheap tactics like the ones who keep dodge rolling with blaster heroes.

I love his block
i always throw the light saber behind a hero while also keeping them busy on me so it does extra damage and 2 they get really confused when doing it.
but with troopers I just throw it at them like a normal person but mostly when theres 2 or 3 people in a line or bunched up together cause if it glitches on the first guy its most likely gonna hit the others.
i reccommend using the light saber throw for mostly destraction.

For me, I like to use that setup, but with Ranged Throw instead of Wrathful, because now he has health on kill by default, and it might just be me, but I'm pretty sure in some update the hit register on Furious Throw was fixed, so I just get *loads* of kills with this

Do you think you can make a video guide regarding what star cards to use for assault and heavy classes (basically non hero classes)
I'm not sure about this but I have the impression that the saber throw is more reliable when you aim slightly above the head. Moreover when you do that the saber goes to its max range instead of coming back as soon as it hits the enemy. So you might even hit twice.
Since I'm using the 50% extra range card and this technique in HvV it really works better

With the auto health on kill would you suggest using the same star card slot of dash hits 4 people get 75% reduction?
On naboo I always flank them from both sides an when they all line up I do his jumping attack same with grevious an his claw rush am go side to side when they recharge wrks pretty well

I wish I was this good with heroes. I have my moments of good plays, but every time I pick a hero it feels like I have 10 people firing at me at once.

What star card did they get rid of to replace with his health on kill card?
Tip I picked up from another vid: maul can trigger his choke just before the end of a jump. It doesn't cancel it, but it can make it that much quicker.

Hey, so they changed his health regen star card to a passive ability, do you have a recommendation for a card to replace it, or should we just use one of the cards you recommended for replacing lightsaber defense?

Ohh sum to add I see more successful hits form behind to block spammers who stay still and move slow to you as your mual. Watching block the form not see it coming back really satficing. Miaos always one of my fav saber fighters and Speicl with wasp once his speed and anger get going he wipes the floor.
You gotta redo kenobi his block is fire and he’s pretty reliable now. They’ve made him quite good at H vs V if you know what you’re doing because he’s so good at defence now.Also it would be awesome if you could make some videos about tips with each hero or villain for H vs V like combos and styles etc.

My playstyle is definetly not the best, but what i like to do is surprise choke hold, throw my lightsaber while running towards them(i have both furious throw star cards equipped)spin attack and then face to face duel.
What is the best way to get the not all Miss achievement
