Today is the day you were sent into this world to be a blessing and inspiration to all the people around you and across the globe. Wishing you all the best on your birthday. May your life always be counterpoint to the clamor of the world. May you delight in dancing lightly with life. May you soar on eagle wings, high above the madness of the world. May you attract abundance and all the richness that life could offer. HAPPY 42nd BIRTHDAY, Kurt!
Best wishes from your twin avid viewers,
    Josephine & Jocelyn

Siopao = steamed bun. That's how I would describe it to those who haven't tried it. It's originally Chinese, but Filipinos make their own version (better, in my opinion LOL). They can have different fillings...like pork asado...and bola bola. I have yet to visit Tagaytay. I lived in Baguio City for many years, and even studied there. My wife is from there, as well. So, I have a soft spot for Baguio City and respect for the Cordilleran people, culture and their dishes.

I noticed you eat silogs or tapsilog almost everyday😅. I understand because tapsilog is great and my favorite too. Unfortunately, it's high in cholesterol, so as sisig and other silogs. So please watch out your health and eat vegetables and fish more frequently than silogs. I know you do this for your content but I need to remind you coz I care and I love your channel.. You are a good man. The world and the Philippines need you so stay healthy and keep vlogging.. ❤

Puto is rice cake/muffin... Siopao is flour bun, usually with pork asado filling... Puto & Siopao are both steamed 😊

Kuya Kurt ang Siopao is a chinese steamed bun with meat in it. Puto is a steamed rice cake. The way you eat the food with spoon and fork and mixing it is correct way. If you noticed everything we eat is with rice so they will normally cooke the meat or the mean dish slightly salty or overly flavored and nuetralize that taste with rice. The white dressing on sisig is normally mayonaise could be yougurt and originally they used pigs brain but due to limited pigs brain and not everyone liking it so they switch to mayo. Good job Kuya Kurt! To sound local when you ask how long to prepare the food just ask, “Gaano po katagal!” Or “Matagal po ba?” Or “Gaano katagal ang pag prepara?”. If you ask “‘til what time are you open?” Just ask, “Anong oras kayo nagsasara?”

Ok so Kuya Kurt, Filipinos LOVE Coffee all day long. In Karenderias usually always offer you a free cup of soup for all your meal orders. Even here in the USA, TuroTuro restaurants always still offer you a free cup of soup for all your meal orders. Filipinos love hot soups and hot drinks even in hot weather. They'll have it with breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Its kinda believed that the soups help you digest the food/ulam better. It helps it go down to your stomach better and helps warm your stomach while eating. I don't know if its true but it's what Filipinos usually do. I absolutely love your videos!!! I'm an American Filipino. I was born in the Philippines and then moved to the States when I was 5 years old with the rest of my immediate family. But I ABSOLUTELY love you showing a lot of Manila and barangays around Manila because I used to live in Quezon City. I haven't been able to go back for at least 20 years. It's sooo nice seeing how the areas I used to live in looks now. Thank you soooo much for just being you. You're awesome and thank you soo much for helping the small businesses in the Philippines.
