- With the ARA season officially over my Hyundai i20 WRC rally car was due to head back overseas, but before shipping it out I decided to swing by Hoonigan's Tire Slayer Studios in Compton to give it one more rip.

Everyone been wondering what the new Manline is, I think Ken just set the goal for everyone, not that they'll trust many others to try that but hey we can hope, definitely some seasoned drift drivers that could pull that off without crashing

Biggest testament to Ken's skill behind the wheel, isnt how he can do donuts in the shop, but how he immediately knows when it's not gunna work and kills it before he crashes. It's 1 thing to have faith and trust in your skill, that's what makes you fast, but to understand when it's not gunna work and try again, instead of just full-sending it, hoping for the best, is experience. You're truly 1 of a kind Ken. I'm curious though, will Lia be joining you in Gymkhana 2023, now that she has her license?

That indoor line... was absolutely INSANE... Oh my gosh. Gaurenteed most people just cannot understand how ridiculously hard that was to pull off, ONCE. Let alone doing multiple donuts. Everytime the car does a full revolution, it naturally wants to step out a little bit. There's absolutely no room to allow the car to step out, so to keep it dialed into the center point like that is black magic.

Ken must be the most likable person in rallying, and that says a lot about him and what he can do behind the wheel in all the cars he drives. Extreme talent
Love Ken but he is nowhere near the top when it comes to real rally. He doesn't go as fast as the WRC guys but hes fun to watch cuz he goes way wider than everyone else.

@@KalLanPIDT He goes as fast as he and his car will allow on the ARA stages. WRC is a different beast, with a ton more money behind it, more participation from manufacturers, and a different rule set.
Get out to an ARA event next year... I promise you will never watch Ken pass by on a stage and think he could be going faster... he's always on the edge.

@@wooooo948 He never drove a full WRC season, he was pretty new to rally when he started, and he still had 6 top 10 finishes. It's not like he was way out of his league or anything. The other teams all had comparable cars and had drivers who had been rallying since they were little kids.

For a fraction of a second, I was surprised at how comfortable KB was just taking a run at the Burnyard in a car that had never been there, and was made for a completely different environment...but then I remembered, well, everything. There's a new 10/10ths in town
I went to the event! Tire Slayer Studios is as sick as you would imagine, and all the guys are so cool and friendly.
Gary is the best Superfan / Hypeman ever to have in your corner. The faith and confidence this man has in his heros and friends is EPIC!

I stumbled on some drifting video's from this channel a few months ago and while watching i felt that the crew had a true sense of family but forgot to subscribe, I tried everything I could to find them again but couldn't...till today 😢 💔 . My condolences to all his friends and family.
I still can't believe how he didn't wreck the Garage. Simply the best piece of driving skill you will ever see.

This guy knew what he was doing. It takes some balls to do donuts in a shop this tight. We lost a legend and I hope those tire marks will last long enough to remember him and his driving skills.

It would be great if they just put a type of clear coat over the tire marks to keep em there forever, but this was 2 months ago sadly they probably are cleaned up or almost gone because NOBODY COULD HAVE EXPECTED FOR THE 1 THE ONLY KEN B TO LEAVE US SO SOON!!!!! It always amazes me how insane the vehicles are in the top levels of motorsport. Whether its F1, MotoGP, WRC, or WEC LMH the engineering is just incredible

This is something else. Hyundai has earned a new fan today… they’re doing all the right things right now to further their brand and try to compete with other companies. They’re putting in a bunch of work racing and developing and they just seem to be getting better and better every time I hear or see something about them. Like their concept car, that thing is badass! They way their innovating these cars… round of applause to their engineers for real! I’m starting to love all that they do 😂
Sadly they have been doing really shit this season in WRC compared to previous season (multiple technical problems) coupled with Toyota just has been dominant and making no mistakes especially at the hands of Rovanpera. (Although to be fair, Toyota has always been a strong team ever since their return to the sport in 2017)
