    The Hyundai HYBV3000E is a 3-in-1 Leaf blower, Vacuum and Mulcher that weighs only 3.3kg and is used for tidying up the garden throughout the year. The HYBV3000E has a powerful 3000W motor that has variable speeds between 8,000 and 14,000 rpm and a telescopic chute that extends from 70cm to 100cm reducing storage space. The built in mulching facility reduces the foliage and grass by ratio of 1/10th of its original size making it suitable for composting.
    In this video review, I’ll be detailing all the features and functions of the Hyundai HYBV3000E, both good and not so good and demonstrating how well this Hyundai HYBV3000E works in the real world.
    In summary, I found this Hyundai HYBV3000E well built, light weight and most importantly, it works well in respect of the blow/vacuum power and its mulching ability. It’s covered by a 3 year Hyundai warranty and is super value for money when compared to the likes of Bosch and Flymo.

    Helpful. I need one to replace a Bosch which has done about 10 hours of work in 5 years and packed up. Well, it's making an horrendous noise and the bag zip has broken rendering it useless. I had a moment of 'Oh-oh!' in your video when you said, "You really shouldn't be using it in such wet conditions," because that's probably what has wrecked the Bosch. That and the fact that we have a big fir tree which drops huge amounts of soft things, 8 to 10cm long. They are also generally damp. I know it's harder work for it but I didn't realise we had to wait for that one day a month when all the debris has dried out. I had intended to buy one of these today but the leaves are wet and I may just need to rake and sweep.
    As far as your work goes, the video production is very good. Clear shots, good explanations, nice summary.
    To be more helpful I would have appreciated hearing some quick comparisons at the end though this may risk your relationship with manufacturers. Something like, "Mulches better than the Black & Decker, better blowing power than the Bosch, longer lead than both, not as as good as X though it is cheaper," etc Or straight advice like, "If you've got a big garden, you might need the X, or if you are mostly blowing and don't need the vacuum so much, try the Y, or if you need a battery powered model, look at..."
    Thanks though. I think this is the one for me.

    Great little video thanks easy lawn",
    Was gonna do a review video on this product but u beat me to it.
    I wish I'd watched this first before using it. The switch to make blow and then vacuum is brilliant. The extend tube is brilliant adds extra blow power and of course height. The chopped leaves are really good, (do you need replacement blades??)
    I literally suck the leaves and everything up moving backwards, does a brilliant job!, my first leave blower.
    The bag attached should have been in video!, for first timers,, and for me if bag gets too full the zip pops open a little.
    For me it's five stars.
    Sightly addicted I must say. Blow leaves then quickly vuccum. Everyone needs one.

      Thanks for the positive feedback, glad that the video was useful. Yes you are right about the bag attachment, it can be little frustrating to attach and when the bag becomes heavy, it does have a habit of working its way off, so empty before the bag gets too full. All it all, it works great and is a handy and convenient tool to have around the garden.

    To see it in action on what were dry leaves by comparison to the soggy ones I have in November and importantly the 'little finger' sized brown 'tree turds' that I have in the thousands off my cyprus tree, initially dry and full of yellow dust but after rain they are not blowable, due to shape and weight, as if a thousand puppies had each 'done one' ..but need sucking up, and that hyundai missed leaves and small twigs, bits of soil, if it passed over leaves its no good for soggy ones and my 'turds'. Cons say lack of option on tube configuration for blowing. More on that would be good.

    Hi, I wanted to ask if you know if this leaf Blower/Vac/Mulcher would work on twigs with the leaves like that of a cypress tree and ones similar to that tree. The leaves that fall in my garden from our neighbours garden are thin and needle like, like that of cypress trees.

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  Před 3 lety

      Hi Kari
      I have the same tree with needle like leaves and though it does work, I found the end of the vacuum clogging/blocking often. You need to take it more slowly than you would with dry leaves.
      To be honest I find it quicker to sweep the needles with a stiff broom and use the vacuum for the rest of the garden.
      Thanks

I'm planning on using one for blowing dry or damp leaves from 20mm stones 24x8 foot area. I don't mind blowing them into a pile and picking up, rather than potentially clogging the impeller like others have mentioned. Thanks :)

      It also acts as a cable hook to take the strain off the cable connection, if you double the cable into a loop pass it through the bath shaped hole then loop it over the tee shape ! It saves you having the cable breaking where it enters via the grommet, this is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions but most corded blowers strimmers etc have this on them.

      You can adjust the suction so it collects the leaves and not the pebbles. I have tried this myself and it works well. Just be careful that no smaller pebbles get sucked up as this could damage the unit.

    The only thing that I find is the shape of the sucker head and the wheels not quite at the right angle to keep the right distance from the surface but most are not but adjustability helps. Access to clear blockages is a critical factor as blowers inherently block easily. Angled head makes this particularly difficult to clear or even see blockages.

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Rebecca, yes it is relatively powerful with its 3000W motor but you need to be careful as there is a mulching blade that cuts the leaves and debris into fine pieces, so it is not designed to pick up sticks and gravel as this will damage the motor and the blade.

      Hi Leonie
      Thanks for your message.
      I just had a look at mine as I did not have a problem and can see there is a string (shoelace) that holds the bag on to the unit.
      Remove this string and tie again ensuring the whole bag is well over the lip.
      It is a shame that Hyundai did not thread this sting through the actual bag itself to stop this happening.

    I purchased in 2019. Whilst vacuuming dry leaves the tube got blocked. Went to manual and advises unscrewing impeller access door P.14/15. There is no impeller access door. Contacted seller and they said there was no impeller access door and was told you must dismantle the housing to remove the tubes. Did so but it was not straightforward or easy.They have now produced a video which says you have to loosen three screws to take apart the two halves of the tubes to be able to clear them ... for leaves! Do that on a cold autumn day halfway through your job. And don't do it outside as you may lose the screws. Is this the best solution that Hyundai can come up with?

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  Před 3 lety

      Hi John, thanks very much for your comment and highlighting this. I also spoke to Hyundai about this originally and yes this is the only way to clear a blocked tube/impeller.

    • @johnevans9876
      @johnevans9876 Před 3 lety +1

      FYI the problem is exasperated if the tubes are extended so use shortened if you can. I also use a cane to poke and free blockages as taking it apart is ridiculous.

    Highly misleading video. It's plain to see that the leaves are NOT wet and this is massively important as the vacuum will not pick up damp leaves or even dry leaves if attached to stalks (eg laurel hedging). The debris bag on mine split around the shoe lace (yes, shoe lace) fixing and I've had to fix with duct tape. Interestingly, the video does not mention the debris bag installation at all. Trading Standards should see this...

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  Před 3 lety

      Hi Nicholas, I can confirm that the leaves were damp as we just had the wettest period in many years. It is never a good idea to use a non-commercial electric vacuum anyway on wet leaves. With regard to the shoe lace and the collection bag, I do understand where you are coming from and it can work loose especially when the bag is full and heavy. It is possible however to tie it more tightly to prevent it from slipping away from the device.

  • @didrikskantze3695
    @didrikskantze3695 Před 2 lety

    IMHO: DONT BY THIS ITEM!!!
    It will only work well on perfectly light, correctly sized and completely dry leaves.
    I am baffled that 3000W doesn't create stronger suction / blow.
    The suction is so poor, I put my hand in front to see if there was any suction. You can barely feel the suction with your hand.
    I am baffled that so many people rate this product high.
    The type of leaves it will collect, would be very easy to collect with a rake.
    If you are reasonably fit, save the environment, get some exercise, save your money, and don't by this item.
    Nothing against the reviewer. But, yes, ... in my view it is misleading, as this product is not as great as it comes across in the review.

    • @EasyLawnMowing
      @EasyLawnMowing  Před 2 lety

      Hi Didrik, thanks for your comments and your opinion. I do understand what you are saying in terms of the limitations, however the leaf blower did collect the leaves which were little damp and mulched them nicely, as you can see from my video. Are you sure your leaf blower is not blocked in the chute or around the impeller, as mine definitely had good suction if you were to put your hand at the end of the chute. This doesn't sound right. In terms of blowing, yes I agree it is not great on wet leaves, but again it does have its uses in the right situation. I have just recently scarified my lawn, and it did a great job at blowing all of the thatch and moss into a pile for collection. Again, thanks for your feedback.
