This is a HUGE N scale model railroad empire of the Great Northern Railway in Washington state! You certainly invested tens of thousands of dollars on your model railroad kingdom! You designed it very accurately, according to the many photos taken of the GN mainline from Spokane through New Cascade Tunnel to Puget Sound! I hope to visit your model railroad kingdom someday.
What a well done layout! The scenery is superb. I never did understand when I see great work like this why anyone would give it a thumbs down. Haters...
Great layout with a Great name of a great railroad which was the Great Northern which is now a part of a great railroad which is the BNSF. My most favorite of all the pre merger railroads is the Great Northern & the Great Northern railroad emblem of Rocky the goat is my most favorite railroad emblem of all time. It will be great to run some Great Northern trains on the layout.
Wait, the GN goat mascot is named Rocky? That's adorable! I love it when railroads name their mascots, like Chessie, the C&O kitten, or Dashing Dan, the LIRR commuter. I'm sure there are others, too, but I can't think of any.
@@That_One_Guy_In_A_Band the Erie railroad had a cartoon of an engineer that smiled named Friendly, knowledge Smiley the engineer & the Lackawanna(Delaware,Lackawanna & Western) had a model named Phoebe Snow promoting how clean their passenger trains are, the Santa Fe has a Native American cartoon boy named Chico & the Boston & Maine had a picture of a minuteman promoting their service & the Central of New Jersey called CNJ and Jersey Central had the head of the Stature of Liberty on its boxcars.
Awesome fantastic layout!! The very best Cascade layout I've ever seen. I'm in awe since I model SP&S,NP and GN. Would love to see some ops. Your equipment and rolling stock have to be as great. Thanks very much for sharing this with all of us.
Suggestion for the next video - get a tripod and do some slow panning shots across the field of view. Zoom in on a few of the really interesting scenes. This is a spectacular layout and a viewer needs time to take it all in. Establish, detail, relocate, repeat.
I know I am nitpicking here, but it's a shame the backdrop for the Rock Island Bridge is so wrong... flips East and West sides of the river, and I also find it funny just to the right of the dam you can see the highway painted, but that is actually the tracks.
The cameraman sucks at filming because he moves so damn fast, you cannot see what you are looking at or lets you read the names of the towns. I know they are based on actual places in Washington, but it woul dbe nice to know what the hell I am looking at.
Great layout and great music! Nice break from the banjo and harmonica music most train videos seem to have.
Thanks for the greT video of you layout, looks great 👍

My goodness, only a layout in my dreams. Thanks for sharing. Dave
Some of the best water/river and bridge work I’ve ever seen the whole layout is awesome!
Top....great scenery. Your bridges are very very good. Chapeau for your work.
Beautiful layout! Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely incredible.

Anybody who has a different opinion than yours is automatically a hater and guess what that makes you? You’re a hypocritical hater.
excellent.....beautiful layout
Great Layout, great camera work, mind numbing bongo music.
Beautiful and creative layout ....can only image how many hours are invested here to realize this work.

@@christopherorourke6543 I knew about the Phoebe Snow, though I forgot about the name, but the rest are all new to me. That's awesome.
Beautiful layout
Fantastic railroad Pete. Keep up the good work.

Incredible layout! Beautifully done. Music drove me nuts.
Wow! Beautiful layout.

More! Beautiful recognizable scenes. It would be great to see a point to point video with commentary as trains pass through locations.
Wow that’s a great layout.
Great!!!!! So well done!
Wow, truly an impressive layout!! You could lock me in here and throw away the key, I would be perfectly fine!
Cool video and channel just subscribed
Would be a nice video except for the camera being mounted on an F-16 doing high speed passes!!
I agree! I had to watch in .5x playback speed to enjoy it.
yes camera way to fast too see details
once I turned the music off it was great to watch
Fabulous layout! You've really raised the bar. I wish they had that lift bridge in N scale...
Now for a cab ride !!!
I’m puzzled by the large empty yards. Makes me think we’re looking at the Milwaukee Road.
The jungle music killed it for me...
Exquisite layout! but next time drink the coffee after you video tape it please.
Perfekt 🙂
Very Very nice...details...do a slow video too take all in 😇👍
i wish i had that much room
Very nice, but the panning is far too fast.
Beautiful layout but I didn't see any rolling stock on it.
Do you have events for the public?
Thats how its done.
Beautiful, not one train or rolling stock in sight...explnation to come, I'm sure.
Probably a strike by the railroad engineers and conductors..???
I know I am nitpicking here, but it's a shame the backdrop for the Rock Island Bridge is so wrong... flips East and West sides of the river, and I also find it funny just to the right of the dam you can see the highway painted, but that is actually the tracks.
Oh my…..
Wait, what?!!! Is this n scale???? I read this in a comment??
How long did it take to build?
Beautiful layout, but not one piece of railroad equipment. Where are the trains?

Slow your panning down, and it’s to jerky?
where do people get the room?????????? these people must be millionaires.
Model railroad? Where are the trains?
I was thinking the same thing. Layout Being cleaned perhaps?
What scale??
HO
Great railroad, really annoying music.
