Def the best color way 100% explicitly because of the nylon > mesh. Really does look like an entirely different sneaker compared to typical mesh 500s. Not sure if you’ll still see this but adidas has these on sale for $120 except (stone, ‘taupe’) inferior mesh version, which is what brought me to watching this now. I think I’m going to pass on those but will pull the trigger if they drop these OG stones again somehow. Nostalgia is motivating me more than quality now since New Balance materials are hands down better like you said. Now I know how Jordan fans feel obsessed with “retros” of models they grew up with despite old unimproved technology
