I ended up going with my girlfriend because she wanted to see it and even though I had a feeling it was going to be the way it was, I was still hopeful for it to be similar to the original. When I first started watching it actually seemed like it would go the same route as the original, but she didn't really learn anything. Although I didn't like the movie and I didn't like her Character, I felt the main woman in the movie carried the flim. My girlfriend didnt like it either and it actually made her more uncomfortable than me. It's like inviting the person you love to a gathering of people just to have that gathering of people bash on them for over an hour. Surprisingly this was released on Valentines day so you know a lot of couples watched this awkwardly together. If you ask me this movie is for single women that hate men.

It brought up heavy issues (working as a woman in a high stress predominantly male environment, suicide, the trials of women's teenage years) and gave a very positive message about men and women working together rather than butting heads.

Rhini Townend how did that portray women in a derogatory way? The main character was a man portrayed as being a man whore who disrespected women casually whereas the women were shown as caring and actually decent while he was just trying to manipulate the women then he realised he had to change. The women were shown to be very intelligent as the main guy even tried to steal her business idea cause it was so good and all the other girls were shown to be kind and just wanting to have proper connections with men and be appreciated. So I have no clue what hat you just pulled that statement out of?

Sempron because women made that no longer allowed. Men are very limited to what we can say and do now. The tables have turned and not for the better, but definitely not for worse either. Men are generally the stronger sex and beating women would be seen as unacceptably cruel now. These are not just my words though. Everything I think about this exact situation was gotten through conversation with my mom actually
