  • A cost effective alternative to the more expensive options out there! not only do I show the rack but also detail how I made my parts and most importantly WHERE to find the stuff!
It seems people share their building process but don't bother educating the lower masses as to where to find the material on where to get the stuff to build it. PLEASE if you have questions do not hesitate to ask! Thanks for watching.

Hi. Fellow Ecto owner here. You did good on using plumbing supplies. A roof rack will be subjected to the elements. Sun and wind alone will beat them up before rain or snow ever does. For that reason alone, the durability of plumbing supplies is a wise move. Having seen the rotting wood in the screen-used Ecto's rack firsthand, I used all steel and plastic in my rack. Never regretted it. Lovin' the green lights too.

Hi Jellybean. The lights came from the supplier of the light bar. The light bar is a Code 3 Light Bar. Check google for a local supplier to you. I hope this helps!

Hello. I went and checked local police depts around the towns I would be visiting and per code my rack meets requirements. The lights could not be blue or red and the lights could only be on in residential neighborhoods and parades
