Man. Thanks for this. I was on the edge of getting one. I might just get a super sprint muffler now.
Can you say more about noise, cruising 80 mph?
It’s a very quiet exhaust in my opinion. Even at full throttle it’s very tame. The resonance around 5k rpm is the only weird spot.
Hmm not bad. I just might grab one for my E86 coupe.
@FET Engineer - If you end up getting one, maybe post a video of your installation experience. I would be interested to see how well one of these systems fits up to someone else’s E86.
@@Casey_Schmidt trust me brother, after completely watching your video I'm taking my 6spd E86 coupe to a professional installer.
Good call. Not that the figment on mine was impossible to work with but... it was more work than it needed to be.
I would not use a scorpion exhaust on an e86 BMW as can you see the untidy welding, there are essienman exhaust that compliments the e86, however scorpion is a budget option I suppose.
@CK 888 - You are correct, you get what you pay for.
Was looking at this system but that fitment looks poor. Good video though.
Barrie Macfarlane yeah the fitment isn’t impossibly bad but I think spending the bigger money to have a shop build one from scratch would be the better route in the long run.
A video about an exhaust, and you're not gonna give us sound? dafuq man
@insomniscient - there is a sound comparison at the end between the original, modified, and scorpion exhaust. Time stamp 27:43
I’m a welder and they look great to me, pick up a tig torch and see if you can do better
