Thanks for leaving a comment. I think i'll get around to doing some new wheels and shocks on this in the next few months and do a follow up. I've been driving it almost every day since I got it, if my son isn't driving it first! I got a JST to Deans adapter coming for it so I can use my other mini car batts with Deans connector. If you are interested in mini crawlers and haven't decided on one yet, this one might be the one to consider getting, especially if you are hesitating on putting down the money to buy a Traxxas TRX4M. Austar Hobby is connected with Injora and they make a lot of great RC crawler upgrade parts and some of their own RC's now. This is a total thumbs up. 2 keys for this, remove the hitch if you are NOT planning to get the trailer. And clip the 2 plastic down braces that prevent the servo horn from getting more articulation. I have no idea why that is there but it's a MUST to remove. I went into a lot of detail on this model in the video, more than I thought going into it but it's one of my favorite crawlers in my collection. Also remove the hitch if you are not going to pull a trailer. it hangs up when going over obstacles or from a flat surface to a fairly steep incline. Have fun it's a great truck. I ordered a second one on cyber monday (grey). $85cdn shipped what a deal.

It’s been really hard to even consider thinking about Rc’s my head was in so much pain. It finally after 8 days. Hope fully I will have more content too , got to wait for my voice to come back😝! Long press the lights button in the RC and the headlights will turn on/off.

Can we change the drag or the stop reverse to just reverse?
Hey man... you are the first person to ask me about this or raise the issue. Off the top of my head I don't know. I don't think many if any of these small esc receiver combos are programmable. I don't think there is a jumper on it to change to F/B/R to F/R. You can always get something like the dumborc ddf-350 and grab micro receiver and let the radio features tune your rc. But then you are spending more on the radio and receiver than the value of this RC. A better and highly touted ESC that is very affordable is the injora MB100. I hope that puts you in the right direction. You can always join the facebook group I'm in (i think there's a link in some of my videos on this truck). Post the question there and ppl driving it way more than me can provide tons of info.
Got mine yesterday. I really like it but the lack of crawler reverse and the super slow reverse speed is a bummer. Given the great modulation of it, that is a shame that we will have to change electronics to get crawler reverse and a proper reverse speed. Turn off the headlights by long pressing the button.

Hello, are there spare parts for it? like transmission gears and differentials?
I haven't seen spares yet but i believe some trx4m parts fit.
Banggood has spare parts and I'm confident you'll find them on Aliexpress and possibly asiatees or something. Along with Deez says, much will cross over with the TRX4m.
Would you recommend this, an hbx 2098b, or the wltoys 2428? They are all within ten dollars of each other right now
I never owned the HBX 2098b but I have something similar, the Basher Rocksta. But the HBX is better than the Rocksta. Hands down the Austar beats my Rocksta and Wltoys 2428. 2428 is a more of cruising trail truck and needs work if you want to crawl. This austar model can do it all well. The HBX 2098b I would change the tire on it immediately just from past experience on RCs I had with those kind of treads. Hope that helps!
Hope you haven't decided yet as great sales here on Cyber Monday. I was told buy a couple ppl they scored this for $60USD.

Yes this is better quality RC truck than the MN128.
what do you think of the fcx18 lc80 model?? Is it worth spending more for that model or is it better to get mn128?
@@jokerpanta_airsoft there is a big price difference between the LC80 and this model. The LC80 is a better quality truck but I'm not sure if the price difference makes it worth it. You could buy this truck and spend the money for Injora parts for the TRX4M and they mostly work on this RC and you would have a better upgrade model than the FCX LC80.
Not a bad one for a Xmas present.
If you are interested in a mini crawler I think this is the one to get for the money. Works great stock, worth upgrading. If you get a TRX4M you'll likely want to upgrade it to so you'll be out even more money. The motor in here is bigger than the traxxas. Can't go wrong either way but I've always had my eye on a trx4m but now this fits the bill.
Traxxas anything is way too much money these days, this little crawler would actually be really great for some airbrushing and detailing@@mikesrccorner
Which is better performce this one or the fms 1:18 fj cruiser?
@@Youboyg This is my opinion... i think the FMS is a nice scale trail truck but doesn't crawl the best. I think the Austar AX8560 will perform better but there's isn't a huge gap between them.

that you cant make the chasing light bar turn red and stay red, seems like a crime
The light bar is cool but the choices aren't the greatest if you want my opinion. However my kids love it and have fun changing them all the time. I'd like to do away with the turn signals going on all the time.
