!!! Attn. AXIAL: I get the penny pitching input, coming down from the on-high Bean Counting Dept. But I think having the same SLT 3 controller come with this would have been not only cost effective (One product to build, not two different ones), but as you pointed out, made it more value for the customers in terms of being more useful for add-ons.
it really should have just used the same electronics as the AX :(

Love these breakdowns. I haven't found anyone else doing as good a job. Wish you did this for larger rigs. Even when you test diff remotes and try out how optionally electronics can be is so good info. 🙏

I must admit, I like the look of this Power Wagon body. I just don't totally love other brands PW bodies. They're not quite to scale, the cab roof height seems just a bit off. Very smart making the body and bed separate. Be a nice platform for a tow truck/wrecker.
Someone needs to get in with the MOOR crew and add a "1/24 and 1/10 Scale Wrecker Games" to Matt's event!!!

Hope they or someone, comes out with that 2pc body in clear Lexan to lessen the weight!!!!
There are a few lexan power wagon bodies out there. (the betty is one, but its 1 piece). A 2 piece would be nice
I’ve got the orange one as well. I was bummed the green was out of stock at the time I ordered but after seeing the green, im glad I got orange. I lost a door handle and one of my wipers won’t bed back. Also my Velcro stopped doing Velcro things after maybe 3 runs.
It’s very topply but the proline tires and plastic big bores make it enjoyable. And after dumping money into mini after mini for the next shiny parts, It’s reminded me of the simple pleasures of rc crawling.
But it’s time as a stock truck is limited. Axle swap, lcg bits and a cedar are in its future.
Stock trucks never stay stock long lol.

I like that they went with a beadlock wheel now. The tsl sx 1:1 is a great tire too and ranks right up top along side the bogger in my opinion.

I wonder why they choose to release more "toy truck" things - is that the main buyers group ? Instead of some performance oriented crawler with all the things people update already in it.
They know people like to build their own with parts they choose. Look how long it took them to come out with the scx 10 pro kit. Maybe some day we will have an scx24 pro kit.
@@TheShopMiniRC By then i have spent all my money on stuff like mazz, hardpark etc and don't need it anymore. But definitely not interested in this or the Furitek, i would buy that for my kid if i had one.

My son fried our first two SCX24 by plugging the battery into the wrong port...
Ooof. If they were v1 electronics they can still be used as receivers and just get an external esc.
I did that to mine haha. Bought a new ESC (stock version) and bound it. Works great.
