- In this video we will show you in detail how to remove and clean the carburetor on a 2002 Yamaha 3hp outboard motor. We will include some adjustments you might want to make to your needle float valve assembly. As and added bonus we will share a good word about what the Lord has done for you and I.
Excellent illustration why an electric outboard is a good idea if it fits the mission.
Great video! I particularly liked the short cut way to access the carburettor as the Service Manual suggest lots more unnecessary parts should be removed. The discovery of the fuel filter was an eye opener as mine was missing, hence the dirt inside my own carburettor. I have now purchased one - for £6.50 - so hopefully i won't need to clean out the insides any time soon.

HI! I have the same problem, were you able to solve it with the fuel pump membrane? I also read that the 3 hp comes rev limited from factory but it can be removed. Have you heard something about this?
No I didn’t know and I wish somebody make a video showing that specific problem
@@AcordesCristiano Ok, I will keep you posted if I find something else. Please do the same. Cheers
Hay que estar tarado para meter una charla de religión en mitad de la reparación , que pesada es la gente.
