Can't wait to get my set, and transmission set... Larry Hernandez.
Let us know how you like them once you have them installed and run them for a while!
Good video! I’ll order these once my oem gives out.
We really appreciate the support. We have some other C63 specific videos coming soon so give us a like and subscribe so you see them as they come out.
You can undo the bolts on the engine mounts and then get a plank of wood, put it on your jack and place on oil pan and jack up the engine some until you have enough space. After putting the car on four jack stands.
I’m likely going to do this instead of renting a car lift. Is it sketchy at all or fairly easy to lift engine? Do you need to unbolt anything to lift it a few inches up?
YEAAAAAAAAAA
At the beginning of the video, when you reinstalled the OEM mounts, you dropped the steering rack to get them out. Later, when you removed them you didn't drop the rack. Was this step skipped, or can you do this without dropping the rack? Thank you for the video!
Ok I knew someone would catch it lol.
It has been so long since we had OEM engine mounts in the car. I had forgot that the OEM engine mounts will not come out with just moving the rack out of the way. Our Elimivibe mounts are slightly smaller so if you ever need to remove them you can leave the exhaust alone and remove the two steering rack bolts to move the rack out of the way and get the mounts out.
I know these are fairly new so there hasn't been much real world testing, but are there any indications on longevity? It would be great to get these in during a header install and hopefully not have to worry about replacing them with all the additional piping you'd have to deal with.
As you stated there has not been a ton of testing on this particular vehicle. With that said, we have a few E55's as well has a bunch of CTS'V cars with over 3 years of testing without failure. Also, they are much easier to get in and out than the factory mounts.
How similar is this to install on the E63S? The S is all wheel drive.
The E63S is a little tougher job due to the AWD and the turbos being extremely close to the engine mounts. Unfortunately, at this time we dont have any videos on replacing engine mounts on one of those cars. With that said, that is a video we would like to make.
Side note: Once you get the OEM engine mounts out of the E63S, the Elimivibe mounts fall right in because they are a bit smaller.
How similar (easier/harder) is this job on CLK55 (W208)?
easier, I don't think you have to drop the rack to do the mounts on that car

Is that the lift Jordan dropped the v2 off of?
"almost" dropped the v2 off of, but yes lol
Hello, I would really like to buy your kit, I am located in Brazil, does the company ship to my country?
Hello sir yes we do ship to Brazil. Easiest way to purchase is through our website. You can even get shipping quotes before you purchase.
I guess fuck me for having headers
Despite having headers, the process is the same. Some headers you can install engine mounts without having to touch the headers. Some you will need to either loosen the headers or take them out for engine mount install.
The Elimivibe mounts are a slightly smaller profile than the OEM mounts. If you can get the OEM mounts out, installing the Elimivibes will be a breeze.
