zhlédnutí 2,7KPřed 5 lety
This video compares the OEM rubber bushings vs Creative Steel's polyurethane subframe bushings on W211/W219/R230 AMG vehicles.
Bought my clk55 used with 75k miles on it and the factory eng mounts were blown out and currently the replacement Lemforders have around 25k on them and getting all sorts of traction control codes and they are about to let go so I'll be upgrading to the CS ones soon.
@@tompilling4154 We appreciate the support and are confident you will love the Elimivibes.
You forgot to tighten the jam nuts

Can't wait to get my set, and transmission set... Larry Hernandez.
Let us know how you like them once you have them installed and run them for a while!
Will this fit the c300 of the same ? If so l need a set will to do promotion
Hello, I would really like to buy your kit, I am located in Brazil, does the company ship to my country?
Hello sir yes we do ship to Brazil. Easiest way to purchase is through our website. You can even get shipping quotes before you purchase.
I have the Creative Steel motor and transmission mounts in my 2003 C32 and simply love how much better the car feels when driving. Do you have the subframe mounts for my chassis?
I know these are fairly new so there hasn't been much real world testing, but are there any indications on longevity? It would be great to get these in during a header install and hopefully not have to worry about replacing them with all the additional piping you'd have to deal with.
As you stated there has not been a ton of testing on this particular vehicle. With that said, we have a few E55's as well has a bunch of CTS'V cars with over 3 years of testing without failure. Also, they are much easier to get in and out than the factory mounts.
Nice 👍 , anything for w163 ?
I guess fuck me for having headers
Despite having headers, the process is the same. Some headers you can install engine mounts without having to touch the headers. Some you will need to either loosen the headers or take them out for engine mount install. The Elimivibe mounts are a slightly smaller profile than the OEM mounts. If you can get the OEM mounts out, installing the Elimivibes will be a breeze.
How similar (easier/harder) is this job on CLK55 (W208)?
easier, I don't think you have to drop the rack to do the mounts on that car
You can undo the bolts on the engine mounts and then get a plank of wood, put it on your jack and place on oil pan and jack up the engine some until you have enough space. After putting the car on four jack stands.
I’m likely going to do this instead of renting a car lift. Is it sketchy at all or fairly easy to lift engine? Do you need to unbolt anything to lift it a few inches up?
YEAAAAAAAAAA
How similar is this to install on the E63S? The S is all wheel drive.
The E63S is a little tougher job due to the AWD and the turbos being extremely close to the engine mounts. Unfortunately, at this time we dont have any videos on replacing engine mounts on one of those cars. With that said, that is a video we would like to make. Side note: Once you get the OEM engine mounts out of the E63S, the Elimivibe mounts fall right in because they are a bit smaller.
Good video! I’ll order these once my oem gives out.
We really appreciate the support. We have some other C63 specific videos coming soon so give us a like and subscribe so you see them as they come out.
At the beginning of the video, when you reinstalled the OEM mounts, you dropped the steering rack to get them out. Later, when you removed them you didn't drop the rack. Was this step skipped, or can you do this without dropping the rack? Thank you for the video!
Ok I knew someone would catch it lol. It has been so long since we had OEM engine mounts in the car. I had forgot that the OEM engine mounts will not come out with just moving the rack out of the way. Our Elimivibe mounts are slightly smaller so if you ever need to remove them you can leave the exhaust alone and remove the two steering rack bolts to move the rack out of the way and get the mounts out.
Is that the lift Jordan dropped the v2 off of?
"almost" dropped the v2 off of, but yes lol

2nd part of the video I still see movement , Not as much but it's their
Yes it will still move a little with the black bushings however if you go with our red bushings there will be no movement.
@@creativesteel Do you have a video of the red ones I'm assuming that's gonna be a stiff ride
@@redbaron2448 we dont have any videos of the red bushings unfortunately. We only suggest them for cars that spend most of their time on a track. Most customers are extremely happy with our black option.
@@creativesteel ok thank you
This looks like A MAGIC FIX TO ME !!!! LIFETIME WARRANTY.. seriously.TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL !!!!!
Just ordered and excited to get them installed. Although,I'm gonna end renting your tool I think now.
The tool is a must unless you have the subframe out of the car.
@Creative Steel I took it to a high end Mercedes Benz shop here and Holy smokes!!!! I should've just rented the tool and did it myself!! Had the bushings and all the rear control arms changed at the same time for the tune of just over 4k! Yikes! But, the rear end feels soooo much more confident now! A little rougher then factory but in no way did it "ruin" the ride or comfort. Very pleased with your product. Next will be the motor mounts once these factory replacements go bad again. Thank you for a great product and supporting the w211 chassis!!
@HighDef414 We really appreciate the support and the feedback. Thank you!
Can you compare with the race ones?
The race set are pretty hard and will basically not allow any movement. In turn you may notice some transfer of NVH.
These fit all W211 models?
Yes they will fit all W211 models
Just purchased rear subframe & differential bushings from them after watching this ! I can’t wait to test them out with my ECE billet polyurethane engine & transmission mounts as well with 2 new flex discs 💪💪
how it go
@@ronmower3694 lol still laying in the garage I have a few more things I’m working on but I’ll get to them soon , definitely going to make a CZcams video / review on them after I get to test drive them and the install process , maybe some go pro before and afters 👍 not many review videos if any
@The LongRanger Did you finish your projects yet? What was the results? And did you drop the whole suframe down at once or did you do it 1 side at a time? I ordered the rear subframe kit (black/street) just now myself. I just had every suspension arm changed out (Fr & R) except they couldn't do a few of the rears without dropping the rear subframe and didn't want to do it without me replacing the bushings. So Creative Steel was the only replacement I wanted. Also, did you rent their tool? I did not but may inquire about it now after seeing a video with the tool in use. Although the subframe was bare, on a stand and not in the car. In my cart at FCP I have the flex disc's and center mount and bearing on hold too ironically lol. My E55 is just under 95k so I'm giving it an all new start with the maintenance.
Did you ever get them into your car? How do you like them?
@@creativesteel I know I know I said they would be in soon but I’ve been busy , car is parked in the garage she runs and drives fine but she waiting & parts are pilling up , I’ve been working on & having fun with a new to me 03 ml500 with great 4x4 capability! . It’s funny how you replied to me 2 days ago because weather here in California is getting better & I want to knock out the to do list for the e55 .
How much more road noise do these harder bushes create?
Jules, the black "street" set shown in the video offer very little to no noise transfer over the OEM bushings.
delivering quality as always!
Thank you for the kind words sir
