Do Central back get confidence by scoring goals? De Bruyne is a playmaker he doesn't need goals to be confident. High fitness is also bs, ofc being on good shape makes you be more intense but you don't need that factor as a whole to reach the world class, maybe as a Collective on a high pressuring system. Experience?, I think this explains argument is kind of bs, it works on certain type of occassions experience won't help you to make key passes, dribble and open spaces to your teammates.

      I would like to add further depth into the narrative why De Bruyne left.
      A certain snake from his Belgium national team and team mate at Chelsea, which Chelsea to take no part in the conflict and stuck to the goal keeper which would eventually betrayed the very club that tried to work hard to keep him at Stamford Bridge, but there was some inconsistency with “snake’s” story.
      De Bruyne’s best friend at the time, “the snake”, slept with his best friend’s girlfriend.
      Now ladies and gentleman, who tf can stand to be within the same vicinity of someone who were suppose to be their best friend, grew up and played at Chelsea FC, slept with your girlfriend? I couldn’t. I would want to hurt the person and if I can’t do that, well then, I’ll leave the toxic environment.
      Every Chelsea fan knows this story quite well. Chelsea’s hand was tied, as they saw the potential of a goalkeeper, that could be with them for a decade like Petr Cech, while in midfield, brilliant comes abundance compared to goalkeeper. Nevertheless, Chelsea FC got f by “the snake”.
      I know it sounds like I’m a bitter Chelsea Fan, but in truth, I rather the world knows about the vicious backstabbing of a someone who has the label of best friend, which is the closest thing to a non biological brother in my perspective, to go on and do one of the most uncivilized move in the 20th century. You could even label him as classless. Nevertheless, let the truth set you free.

    It's no one's fault. Not the players' and neither the coach's. The likes of De Bruyne, Salah, Lukaku came in the wrong time. Chelsea had a very strong senior first eleven when they came in. You have to perform exceptionally, i mean very exceptionally well to break into the first eleven. They were still at developmental stage. They need their minutes on the pitch to develop and that wasn't easy to come if like i said they don't perform exceptionally. It was either go on loan to get minutes or play else or be content with being in rotation. They made the right choices for themselves as it worked out for them.

    KDB, like everyone, needed to go through different processes to become the world class player he is today. He was talented then and now he’s the refined end product we see, admire and appreciate every week. An attacking midfielder like KDB was never going to have it easy with Mou who has always had a defensive/counter attacking style. Sometimes rejection is good, if you’re able to reframe it the right way and come out on top.

    Looking into only just this match, I could tell that KDB was just any kid who was under deep pressure both psychologically and physically anytime he made mistakes or lose the balls unnecessarily.
    The system at the time was chase the ball all the time and sit back to counter attack opponents. That's a huge reason why he didn't succeed at Chelsea. One could tell how he was passing and was positioning and staying on the ball for some seconds, playing lofted passes, dribbling into spaces to deliver through passes and you could see that KDB was made for total or possessive and progressive football and Chelsea wasn't playing that.

    U can't judge him with this match, actually too many thing to consider before sell a player, u can't promise he will be he today if he stay with Chelsea, same goes to Salah, Lukaku, tactical is most important, neither can absorb or not by the player

    I came to see this video after reading Roberto Mancini’s statement regarding Charles Deketlaere. Mancini was saying we should give the talented Belgian some time to adjust to the pressure and the new culture at AC Milan, because even De Bruyne in his first year at Chelsea was not that memorable.

    Can we just say that every player has their own style of playing and every tactical system needs players with a playing style that fits into the system itself. Unfortunetly Mou's system doesn't suitable with De Bruyne's playing style.

    Clearly why Pep is far superior. He saw the potential and worked with De Bruyne to get to where he is now. Mourinho wants finished and peak product. Pep is the opposite, Bernardo silva, De Bruyne, stones, ake, Jesus, Ederson, Ruben, Akanji. Be serious, who would’ve thought Akanji would play a pivotal role in Man City’s treble winning season two years ago.

    • @sutapasbhattacharya9471
      @sutapasbhattacharya9471 Před rokem

      It appears harsh but he was treated like many others given the immediate success requirements of Abramovich [who, let us not forget, was corrupt kleptocratic oligarch - I say that as a CFC fan of over 50 years]. Mourinho was telling Joe Cole before the recent Europa Conference Final of the pressures put on him to win things a.s.a.p. at CFC. Mourinho brought in Fabregas who combined brilliantly with Diego Costa to win the Premier League and League Cup the next season with Hazard shining in midfield. De Bruyne has not proven himself in the higher stage of the Champions League and N'Golo Kante outshone him in the CL Final last year.
      De Bruyne himself admits that such failure drove him on to prove himself at Wolfsburg [just as Lukaku and Tammy Abraham proved themselves elsewhere]. As someone else has stated on these comments, even at his best, his style of play may well have been unsuited to the Chelsea style - CFC had wanted to buy Gerrard in 2005 but look what happened when Lampard and Gerrard played together for England.

    • @sutapasbhattacharya9471
      @sutapasbhattacharya9471 Před rokem

      I forgot to mention that De Bruyne says that his ex-girlfriend cheating on him with fellow Belgium star Thibaut Courtois [on-loan at Athletico from CFC] unsettled him at this time and then on-loan Thibaut was brought into the First Team at CFC the next season.

    You can kinda see everything was there but slightly misaligned, his move to Wolfsburg,
    in the German football mentality, from what I can tell, the way they think tactically and about fitness, how to hold his ground and a direct way of thinking supplemented his games.
    And with the time he spent with pep refined the rough edges of his technique. And helped organized his creative thoughts that he had alot of. In a culture built around technical skill being practiced everyday.
