- This is a response video to a recent Islamic attack on the Christian faith. "Ali Dawah Debunked Christianity In Just 1 Minute! - Tough Questions About Christianity".
A Muslim apologist who goes by the name Ali Dawah has put out a video attacking the Christian faith and its filled with so many errors and inconstancies that I just couldn't help responding to it. The video was put out by a CZcams channel called "Towards Eternity". ali dawah debunked.
A lot of the arguments he makes are based on a misunderstanding of Christian theology, the Trinity, the incarnation of Christ and the Hypostatic Union. Once these theological beliefs are correctly presented his arguments fall apart and lose their force. It's quite prideful for a man such as Ali Dawah to think that he can destroy Christianity in one minute when he doesn't even seem to be able to articulate Christian doctrine. ali dawah debunked with ease in this video.

I feel like it’s a big thing in Islam to try to disprove Christianity. Anytime I see their apologists, almost invariably, they bring up Christianity or Jesus and try to make you feel dumb for believing it. Satan was kicked out of heaven for being prideful, and arrogant and wanting to be worshipped and he was kicked. Thinking your good because of your actions and you don't need a Savior shows arrogance and pride. If the devil was kicked out for that there's no way any human with pride and arrogance can enter heaven and be with a Holy God.

Bro, I am a Muslim. Unfortunately in the middle between great morals and living this modern life. I have read the Quran for the first time, a few months ago. Studied it hard, learned a lot from it. Not in detail, but understood the point and the message given by God. I have no idea, why Muslims are against Christians… It is stated a few times in the Quran that Christians are the closest to us and we believe in the same God and that we should take care for one another, as Jesus is our savior from Satan, on the day of judgment. It is emphasized that Christians did and are doing good things for God and in the name of God. They built monuments and they spread all the good words from Jesus to the World. And God loves that! Christians are mentioned in the Quran, as the “People of the Book” which means, God has sent us - the people, a Holy Book in the past too and confirms it in the Quran. Really have no idea why would Muslims be so much against Christians and trying to debunk or I don’t know what. Let us get together, talk about all the similar things and rules we have, which is about 90% the same and worship and give thanks to the Highest being in the Universe - GOD! 2.(translation) Ben went to the woods with a dog.
These two sentences mean the same thing. There's no way a translation includes information that is different to the untranslated one. They insuitate the same thing. So you're argument is not the best here.

When dealing with Muslims in apologetics/debate one should familiar with Taqiya. It's a religious doctrine that many embrace that essentially says that it is ok and even righteous for Muslims to lie to non-Muslims. Guys like Ali Dawah do not argue in good faith.
I often here Christians make this claim about Taqiya but I don't think it really fair. In Islam, Taqiya is a military strategy that can be employed to mislead the enemy. Most Muslims would not consider this a blanket statement that a person can lie. So to the ordinary Muslim using this would be insulting and if your goal is to win them to Christ I would not go there.

That means that we shouldn’t pray to the saints. Also, why do Catholics think that the saints hear they’re prayers? There are millions of Catholics praying at the same time! How could they answer them all? Are they God?

Jesus rejected the glorification of Mary and you should too. She, just like everyone of us was a sinner who needed repentance.
The scripture in proverb 30:4 must really confuse them, it talks about the Trinity saying, “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?”
So with the Trinity does that mean that when Jesus was on earth praying to his heavenly Father, we’re they literally in two places at one time or was Jesus just showing his disciples how to pray to the Father? I’m really trying to understand.
The best way that I’ve ever heard the trinity explained is that the same way that you as a person could be a father a son and a brother or a grandmother a daughter and a aunt is the same way God can be three in one when I first heard, this it kind of blew my mind, because it shows that God’s design really reflects in us in every possible way…

I just think its a good analogy to reflect the trinity because concepts like that can be hard sometimes to understand. But the Trinity is not like that at all.
It's not one person who describes Himself in 3 different roles. It's three distinct persons.
For example, in the human beings there are 7+ billion people, but they are all different. No two humans are alike, even twins.
In the God being there are only three persons. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. But they are exactly alike in every way. As in each one in the God being have the exact same attributes / essence. They work in perfect unity and there is no disunity between them in any way.
Think of it like 3 different glasses of water, but one is full of ice, one is full of water, and one is full of gas. All three glasses have the exact same essence of H20.
The difference between H2O and God in this example is that though the three persons are made of the same exact essence, they do not change form like H20. As in the Father does not become the Son, or the Son does not become the Holy Spirit. They are 3 distinct persons with different roles.
Understanding the Trinity is really important to our faith, so make sure you understand it. :)

And if i were to have a child my father would be a grandfather to that child. So 3 distinct different persons but still one because the relationship is different. 3 distinct persons would be like your dad, your grandpa, and your child. (Think of your grandpa as The Father, your dad as the Son, and the child as the Holy Spirit) This would actually be better in understanding the Trinity if they were of the same exact essence with the same exact attributes in every single way. But you can tell they are not the same exact because their personalities are probably different, and for another example they were born at different times but the Trinity is eternal (one of God's attributes)
Jesus is His own person with His own titles (Son of God, Messiah, etc)
The Father is His own person with His own titles (Ancient of Days, Father, etc)
The Holy Spirit is His own person with His own titles (Comforter, etc)

The footnotes in the Bible are in translations to show that some translations have added scriptures which did not appear in the oldest available translations.
The translators of the Bible have done this because they fear taking anything out of the Bible, so they translate it as is, then they make a footnote that other translations differ, or that these scripture was either added or deleted. But the very fact that the footnote is there proclaims the honesty of that particular translation. It demonstrates the effort of those translators to get to the truth.

There is ANYTHING in existence that is most beautiful doctrine as Holy Blessed Trinity. Absolute unity among three Persons of Love, Truth, Goodness is the most realist of unity. In all existence división and competetion rules but in Tri-Unity One God there is nothing like that what so ever. Our hearts are in awe and wonder to this Reality of One-in-Three God.
As an Orthodox Christian, I can explain why are we kissing icons and praying to them and why is that NOT idolatry (3:45). So, we as a Christians all together believe that if we live as it's written in the Bible, we will have a Kingdom of Heaven inside of us and be with Holy God for eternity and live forever, even if we die in a physical sense. Following that belief, we also believe that Jesus mother obviously lived that way and that she is in heaven currently, meaning she is aware of everything we do here on Earth. By kissing icons of Mary and mentioning her in prayers, we DO NOT worship her and think she is God but that she is in Heaven and we are simply asking her to pray for us. Not all prayers are the same as you can guess by reading the Bible, for example, it is not same if Luke or Matthew were to pray for us compared to if Jesus prayed to us - of course Jesus prayer is much stronger. So whoever lives the way Jesus told us to live - his prayer is stronger compared to the prayer of a person who for example just believes that Jesus is his Lord and Savior but still live his sinful life. And by kissing the icons of Holy Mary or other Holy people, we are really asking them to pray for us in Heaven but NOT worshipping them because we worship only one God same as other Christians.

If you look at a picture of your best friend who you grow up and reminisce about him or you kiss a picture of your mom you're not thinking about the physical picture you're thinking about who is REPRESENTED on that picture, so to say kissing or bowing down to icons is idolatry makes no sense.
As an orthodox Christian, i must disagree with the statement about praying in front of a statue of picture of Christ or St Mary as idolatry. Idolatry is to worship the object itself, praying in front of a picture helps cement and confirm the belief that God is in front of you when you pray, and we have never prayed TO saints, we simply ask for their intercessions.

Although it is a rather crude analogy, I tell people that they are literally seeing the trinity concept all the time. When they look at their computer monitor, the are seeing trinity. How so? Every white-color pixel is actually a combination of 3 colors, red, green and blue (RGB). All three are the same thing, light, yet in the one color their exists three, hence trinity.
