@@daphys_computershow2054 It was offense at the original commenter because if the genders were reversed the assumption would be that its funny (unless the dude is super attractive, then women would feel bad for him) but in this case someone felt compelled to feel sorry for the fictional character. And no need for therapy this is youtube comments.

The most powerful and emotional intro in my opinion. Seeing Harry being comforted by Dumbledore really set the scene.
I just low how Dark fantasy Harry potter feels and the coloring theme, the darkness and color contributes so much to the movie. If this was made now it would’ve been another sunny well lighted marvel like film.
Liked that you noticed how more dark the color scheme gets as the series progresses.
Harry in his first year in Hogwarts had a vibrant and diverse set of colors, but in Harry's later years, the colors are more muted and dull. It symbolically shows how lifeless and repetitive life becomes for Harry and for children transferring from childhood to adulthood.

@@blankets5782 actually the colors are symbolic as Harry gets older and that lord Voldemort grows in power and by the 4th movie is out there and the 5th is growing in power.
Now I am to stop my day of work , grab popcorns, put my room in the dark, click play and turn the volume max and watch all the movies like I am 12 yo again! 📽🍿👧🏻

I do like Slughorn's demeanor and amity towards everyone, though he plays favorites.
Most teachers should focus on the laggers. Horace wants jewels in his crown and the perks of knowing them that come along the way. I guess that's the worst his Slytherin side shows.
It's crazy because in the book it showed Dumbledore going to the dursley's house to pick up Harry
I know it looks pretty cool seeing black clouds of death eaters destroying a bridge but that seriously destroys the point that only Voldy can fly without a broom !

@@baishihua I think the worst examples of poor lighting were anytime Malfoy was fixing the vanishing cabinet. I distinctly remember not having a clue what he was doing when I first saw the movie
@@megabladechronicles962 For real I've always wanted to see these movies in 4k or ultra HD i've always been stuck seeing them is regular HD and it's irritating, i wanna be able to notice the little details and see color. during the scene where dumbledore is on the astronmy tower with draco and the other death eaters is the worst lightning scene first time i watched the movie i had to watch it in a dark room just to see really well

There is lot of Tom Riddles story ignored by the movie.
It’s my favourite out of the Harry Potter films, since it focused on the mystery of Tom Riddle’s weakness and the subplots of several characters around Hogwarts (when it’s not focused on Harry and Voldemort’s conflict) (Ron and Hermione’s love triangle, Snape’s promise to Narcissa, Slughorn’s secret and Malfoy’s stress). But the visuals stand out most to me (the cinematography and the use of horror film aesthetics (for the bits with the cave and Katie Bell)).

They had to destroy five actual bridges just to get the right take. Some of the walk-on actors were blinking in the wrong parts.

The Durslys are bullied by Dumbledore into drinking mead, & that Kreacher, with filthy rags, is present & writhing & rolling around in their surgically clean house.
An actually hilarious scene with solid importance to the story...

Horrible adaptation of the best book. But still great music and cinematography.
The movie is fine, the memories were done quite well, but I hated the relationship drama and the stuff that wasn't in the books. Other than that. The memories of Voldemort and finding the horcrux cave were well executed. I still hope they would've shown Hepzibah Smith memory and when Tom goes to the Gaun house. The relationship drama should've just been left out and focud on something else

@@FlamEmerge0 That's true too. GoF-onwards were thicker and with more pages, which is why DH was split, as it had the most things to cover. Hower imo they could've done a bit more with this film
