About the lower cracking: I haven't measured it exactly, but these two steel tubes on recoil rods separating two spring (the short and long one) seems to be a quite long so that it can cause the bolt carrier not slapping the buffer "pad" but the actual top slapping the lower top part. I shortened them a little bit just to have a peace of mind.
Are there any modifications needed on the gas block/hop unit for the Legacy if I were to replace the handguard and the barrel with a shorter one + integral suppressor?
I'm using the standard length barrel with the surpressor on mine . If you shorten the barrel you might have to lose the ability to adjust hop via the gas block unless you also shorten that rod
Great vid! Thank you, good to hear some of the myths surrounding the APFG MCXs dispelled. Although I don’t own either (yet!) they are on my list. Really interested in a deep dive on your KS1, shame you’ve got to swap out the very convenient hop system, what options are there? The Captain America hop system? Is there any way to mod the stock rail to look like the KS1? Filler etc?
Just received my Mcx no I’m not sure if I can play her out of the box, could you tell me what combination are you using and what had given you the best results?
I have both the MCX and the MPX. The MCX is very bad and the MPX is excellent! Both look very similar but the MCX & VFC M4 magazines combination is a disaster. The APFG MCX is a money pit, stay away from it and buy the APFG MPX instead. VFC designed unique mags for the MPX and that's why it works.
Nice video. I bought one of these and must have received a lemon as after the initial firing it couldn't cycle a magazine at room temperature. Do I spot another Mepro connoisseur? Good choice! 🙂
Great vid.. very enlighting.. I have 2 VFCs.. one MPX and an HK416A5 V3, both with oem nozzle with NPAS. Unfortunately I cannot get them to shoot consistently..first shoot very good , second and third fall 10m after, fouth anf fifth 10m to the right..then its ok again!! its very frustrating..Any Ideas?
I do find that npas do act a bit odd if they are operating at either end of their adjustment range . If you are having to have it almost fully closed to achieve your power then it's worth shimming the valve so that you can get that power in the middle of the npas adjustment range instead
Looking for a gbb rifle that runs of hpa using aeg mags. only thing i can find out the box is TIPPMANN M4 V2 but thats about 3-4 years old. I really wanted a spear in burnt bronze but ive only seen that in aeg. then the toxicant gbb mcx spear if full metal. whut do guru?
Yeah I'm afraid what you are looking for doesn't really exist. Tipmann was the only HPA rifle that had blowback . What you could do is get the VFC M249 and a HPA kit for it

Oh that's interesting actually. I'll look at that !
Great video. Nice to see more on this series 😊
Thanks mate
Great content, looking forward to seeing more of your video's.
Awesome, thank you!
I am using the softer springs in Ireland, much better gas efficiency plus faster.

I’ve just brought the rattler! Please could you tell me what gas you use? Also the softer buffer part to avoid lower receiver cracking?
I use regular green gas usually and the buffer is from "black variable" in the US
Great video, subscribed. Any chance you could let us know which retailer is selling the MCX legacy with those trademarks?
Mine was a custom job from Hong Kong but I believe octagon offered trademarks too

I will do a video on the KS1 build soon. Thanks for the feedback

@@alexvf9466 what's wrong with yours out of the box ? I'm running mine stock aside from the different furniture

And also how do you do the npas is it defo in the bolt carrier bit cos I tried turning a 1.5 mm hex key n others in there but it didn't notice it turn
Allen key down the nozzle, it's fitted at factory on all APFG so it should be there

Thanks mate that means a lot . And yes that is indeed meprolight
Everyone gets a lemon with the MCX, I did too just like 99% of those who bought it. Classic money pit.
Where you get that suppressor and the shroud for the KS1
This one is 3D printed but angry gun are shit to release a full one
17:20 You been in the game since 1990? Woah!
Yes indeed, coming up on 34 years soon
Where did you buy the LONG MCX handguard PLEASE!
It's a real one that got brought over about 6 years ago

Check your nozzle, do you see a silver piece inside the nozzle? If you do, remove it by disassembling the nozzle.

@HTISAirsoft thinking of mcx with a hpa drum mag is looking like the best/only option. Am wrong in thinking the internals are a Tokyo mauri system?
@@shaggymanson5375 depends which MCX . Toxicant make one based on TM MWS where as the APFG is VFC system
