- Hello Everyone! In this Tutorial I'll show you how to export TurbulenceFD files to OpenVDB files. I'll show you bcf2vdb tool and how to use it. Additionally I'll show you Redshifd Volume Object and Redshift Volume Material.

Если у кого ошибка "...not recognized..." \ "...не распознано...", то введите сначала CMD, а потом уже bcf2vdb и далее по гайду.
Это связано с тем, что в нынешней win10 с шифтом не командная строка окрывается, а Powershell.

Or u can just Drag and drop the cache folder onto the .EXE, the Program will run and convert the files into the original cache folder :p

@@user-tg6ih2jb4s прям по шагам делал, по уроку. Ставил паузу и повторял. Ссылка на эту программулину для конвертации под видео. Ее и скачал. Пробел из названия каталога с кэшированными данными Turbulence не забудь убрать, это обязательно. А, да, запускать конвертер надо из папки C:\Program Files\MAXON\Cinema 4D R19\plugins\TurbulenceFD\bcf2vdb С другого диска и другого каталога он нихрена не конвертирует почему то. Скачиваешь, копируешь в каталог с плагинами по указанному пути. А дальше все по шагам по уроку. Гуд лак :)

In the command window you can enter the path name between double quotes if there is a space. Example --> "D:\TFDCache\Cache 001"

You don't have to rename the folder just include the path parameter in double quotes: bcf2vdf "D:\TFDCache\my spacy folder\Cache 001\"

when i go to the basic shader graph and try to put the channels, it wont let me. Density, temperature, and all those things appear grey, Any idea?
You have to reinstall TFD. It wil help you for sure!

That's because may could be a student version, like mine, that doesn't support thrid party renderer, if you are using Redshift or Octane for example.

Проблемы которые могут возникнуть, одна и та же версия turbulence в одной не кешируется через видео карту только процессор и в этой же версии если через процессор выводить кеш получается конвертировать в vdb через видеокарту другой версии кидает ошибку, крч хз что делать, уже всё перепробовал, но через процессор кеш делать это мучение ) кто решит проблему с преобразованием в Vdb напишите вашу версию turbulence fd plz)

Ты открыл не командную строку в веди в поиске командная строка и там это прописывай
При попытке сконвертировать файлы появляется сообщение - "The code execution cannot proceed because libomp.dll was not found. Reinstalling may fix it." Что посоветуете?
У меня была подобная ошибка. В Гугле нашёл этот фаил. Загрузил его в компутер по инструкции Гугла. Всё работает!

Если командная строка запущена не от имени администратора - так может быть
При симуляции через GTX 1060, turbulencefd переключает с GPU на CPU. Не знаешь, в чём проблема?
А сколько у тебя видеопамяти? Если её не хватает - начинает работать CPU
6гб. там симуляция не большая 1300см XYZ и 7см размер вокселя
Видимо процессор изначально мощнее... А вообще лучше на форумах ответ поискать... У меня перескакивает на CPU только тогда, когда заканчивается память видеокарты (8 Гб)
