Kappa Cannoner is a mistake for this set. Ward 4!? Wight of The Reliquary is a slap in the face if there aren't any good lands (stares in Marit Lage)
I feel like modern is going to turn into legacy power level very very soon. ( Coughs in mh3 )
@brandonpayne4923 I have no issue with it being Legacy power (minus Dual lands) my issue is this Urza(Ancient Tomb) Land that makes turn 1 Chalice on 1. I don't want to sit across from such nonsense.

In commander
I fucking hate that. MH sets are already legal in Commander. There was no reason to confuse things more than they already are. I keep waiting for this game to get back on track, and they continue to fail. Oh well. I'll just play Modern when my LGS offers it. Unfortunately it isn't often. I've been pushing for it to happen more often, but still. I have no reason to buy new cards when so many are just for Commander, which I don't play, or the cards aren't usable because games in formats other than Commander are impossible to find.
@@Xoulrath_ I feel it. I really dislike there is a product called Modern Horizons 3 commander deck and it isn’t legal in modern while modern horizons 3 is of course commander legal which is fine but it makes a stronger disconnect. I would have loved 4 modern precons which no new cards outside the mains set have them all be classic archetypes with mh3 updates and that would have been amazing they could sell them for 150 which is around what the fancy mh3 commander precons are going for which is something I also don’t understand in general. If all of the share holders were telling them every product needs to have a commander product tie in going forward these one could have at least had cards legal in modern.
If only they just called the commander decks commander horizons so there is an obvious tie between the products but don’t make it needlessly confusing. They could have released the commander decks first and showed the “modern themed cards” to get people excited for the feeling of the main set. This way they still get to tie the products together they can show the product line as one number (mh2 was the greatest selling set of all time but didn’t have commander tie in that is until lotr which was modern legal and had separate commander decks) so they get the commander decks get to count it as apart of the product line and not needlessly confuse the customer base.

Kappa in modern is completely insane
Ugin's Labyrinth what where they thinking.......That card could be arguably better than a mox diamond or sol ring because it has no casting cost and enters untapped. Very interested to see where the price goes on that card. It may be the best colorless land ever printed and will likely see legacy/vintage play.
@@mr.nakamura9088 I dont think it will see much of any play in those formats because of the cost of imprinting the 7+ which are generally not played, part of viable archetypes.
