Since you mentioned Persia, another theory is that Shajar Al-Durr is from the Khwarizmian dynasty and was captured and sold by the mongols, we learned from a romanticized novel though, so it is most likely fake Egyptian propaganda.
And Shajar Al-Durr is an non-separable name, it means Pearl Tree, and you basically have been calling her tree for 9 minutes

Baybars, Fars, Shajjar, Aybak, Turanshah, so many interesting characters, it's like Middle Eastern game of thrones. Hell yeah finally some Egyptian history!
Anyways, I have a nitpick, not really major one but still a nitpick
1-Shajr Al-Durr was freed once she gave birth and married sultan Najm Al-deen (her husband). Once the concubine bears kids and marries her owner she is officially freed
And some fun facts, she was probably the first and only one in the Islamic world at the time to be called sultana, And there is a folk story that might be true about the delicacy "Umm Ali", Once Seif el din Aybak (Shajar Al-Durr's second husband, and first Mamluk sultan (technically second as Shajjar Al-Durr was also a slave)) was killed by Shajar Al durr, His first wife had a kid called Ali and he was officially sultan After His father's death, She ordered women loyal to her to kill Shajar Al durr with clogs as mentioned in the video, And in celebration of her son's inauguration and the death of Shajar Al durr, she ordered the handing out of bread soaked in milk, sugar and butter, and so the delicacy we eat in Egypt came to be, umm Ali, as umm means mother.
