Thanks - along with the thinner face I'm developing dewlaps like the cowardly lion! Oh well, the wrinkles are a testament to the fat that's no longer there. I'm within 9 pounds of my first goal of 100 pounds lost! So excited! The era of the dollar store is over☹️, and the thrift stores have raised their prices considerably, too. Sad because so many people are just barely hanging on as it is. It makes me so grateful for my blessings!
Not my main career, but on the side I have done voice overs on the radio and TV since I was 16 years old I'm now 63 ,so I'm going to give you an ultimate compliment you so deserve , I can honestly listen to your voice forever and ever, it is so soft, intelligent ,peaceful and inspiring . I could go on and on and this comes from a professional voiceover gal 🎤🎙️❤

Ok, so that is a cotton dress I bought online from Target several years ago. It's floor length and looks like a Victorian nightgown. I love the 'broiderie anglaise' style eyelet. I wear it as a nightgown. In fact I bought half a dozen eyelet dresses when they were ridiculously cheap at the end of summer. They were way too small then but now they're roomy! I need to make some frilly bloomers to wear with them and make that my summer wardrobe. I'll wear my floral hats with it.🤣🤣🤣

I will! Maybe I'll take Grant out for lunch there. I swear Brenda, I have gone out to eat more in the past year than I have in the previous 20 years. I always write everything down along with the calorie counts so I know how to plan the rest of my day and not go over the calories I have set for myself. It's astounding because there is absolutely nothing that I cannot eat. Although, I do stay away from sugar and sodas, salty snacks and some of that kind of stuff. But, if I want a hamburger, I eat one. Learning how to eat like a normal person has been the best take away from the weight loss this year.

She was always nervous about singing in front of people because she's been performing on drums all her life. She used to sing back up, and now she fronts whatever band she is playing with. She rarely plays drums anymore, but she will do it for fun. She and I used to play together years ago. Since I played bass and she plays drums, we were a rhythm section and often played together even when we sat in with other peoples' bands.
Scads more energy! That's been the most amazing and welcome side effect of the weightloss. It's like a perpetual motion machine: the more I lose the higher my energy level, the more energy I have the more I move, the more I move the more weight I lose. Truly miraculous!
Hi Marguerite! Those strawberries were truly special. Each one was sweet and flavorful and fragrant. You can't beat that! I ended up making low-carb scones and mixing the sliced strawberries with some monk fruit sweetener for low carb strawberry shortcake. It was heavenly!
Hi Syrena! that was a very special evening and we both had a great time. The weather has turned very hot here and we're right in the middle of taking care of overgrown grass. It's no longer burn season, but we have been able to bundle up lots of cut grass onto tarps and drag them over to the neighbors, so they can use the cut grass to feed their cattle. The work has never done! I hope all is well with you and yours🥰
