Huge huge thank you to Zack for coming to check out the master. The ctsv coupe is asleep for the winter but your welcome to come review it anytime my man
Lord rest your soul whoop(my brother who passed away earlier this year) who really wanted me to buy one of these instead of the 91 fully loaded park Avenue that I ended up buying. Thank you bro for teaching me how to drive and starting me down the road of my love affair with cars and automotive culture I love and miss you.
I'm sorry for the loss of your brother.
@@zythr9999 truly appreciate that man thank.
Bro :(
I’m really sorry for your loss, God bless you
@@COYGunners thank you 🙏🏿
Head up brother. I’m going to fire up the Z06 and roast two tires in the empty lot for him as we speak 🤘
I think the reason truck sales blew up in the past 15 years was you couldn’t get these v8 body on frame rear wheel drive sedans that could seat 6 with a soft floaty ride anymore.
😅 The got rid of the fall body sedans because people already bought more SUVs / Trucks then before. It's not that the sales went up when such body on frame sedans / station wagons weren't around anymore.
It all changed with the Suburban & many years later in the early 90's Trucks / SUV's sold like heck.
As a St. Louis Roadmaster owner myself, this was cool to see. Thanks, Zach.
One of the great land yachts and a fitting end to GM's land yachts. Super comfortable and tons of room with a reasonably powerful V8 engine to cruise all day long. No, it doesn't handle well, but these are at home on the highway. I always found it interesting that the sedans have a unique front end but the wagons just use the Caprice front end. The B and D bodies have a fair amount of interchangeability.
That home plate-shaped chunk of plastic in the trunk is the resonator from the engine intake. It usually sits on top of the engine. People take it off and block the hole with a hockey puck to slightly improve the intake sound.
Bring back the centered gas door behind the license plate. No more having to remember what side your tank is on and fight the lines at the gas station to get the proper pump. Just pull up almost past the pump and reach it over.
On the automatic climate control. If you press and hold the off button and then the red (temp up) arrow for a few seconds the entire display lights up for a second. Let go of the buttons and you're in diagnostic mode. I don't know what all of them are but you scroll with the fan speed buttons and hit the top right button(middle) to engage. 6 is rpm×100, 8 is temp in °F, and 14 is speed in mph.
This is a carryover from old Cadillacs from the 80's.
Man I just saw one of these going up the Garden State Parkway this week driving by an older guy, and man he was flying! 85mph or so!
Nice to see a review appreciating a Buick for what it is, instead of criticizing it for what it isn't. Solid job
smooth ride, you can actually run up on a sidewalk curb and not even feel it. It was like riding on a cloud.
A highway road car or a prom night cruiser, Unbeatable.
Had a 95 wagon. Always bothered me that they didn't use this front end on the wagon version. Makes no sense. It was an awesome cruiser nonetheless. Not a lot of mods, but did full exhaust including Afterburner midlengths, H-pipe, original 40 Flowmaster mufflers and 3" truck tips behind the wheels. Sweet classic muscle sound
The bubble Caprice, and Roadmaster were awesome vehicles.
The 90s Fleetwood was the ultimate land yacht. LT1, two leather couches for seats, soft suspension, and a giant trunk. You could cruise all day.
Easily the most impressive thing about this one is that it's a GM car from the 90s with a headliner that shows no signs of sagging!
I have a 96. I love the LT1 engine. Over 170k miles on the original Optispark distributor and still running pretty good.
My interior is the same color and the only difference I see is the armrest console. Mine has a full length lid with a foldout cup holder that can be used with the lid closed. I definitely like mine better
Unfortunately, no automakers make large sedans anymore. One of the last ones, the Toyota Avalon has been canceled.
I love my 96 Collection Edition. 91k currently.
Love this Buick roadmaster imagine if Buick would have built a Grand sport version of this car just as the as impala ss
Just got to know about your channel today! Love your way of reviewing cars, I relate a lot to it! Also love your sense of humor.
Speaking of the road master, I love the way this car is designed and the slight wheel skirts they have
I have a '95 with 90k miles. Love it so much nothing else they make today beats this ride
Bought a 94 when I was 17. Got t boned, bought another and stripped the wreck car for everything. Still have my other 94 to this day 5 years later. Save the whales🖤
Love your channel and have been watching all your Cadillac reviews really looking for one! Or a road master! And here it is the review I needed. Definitely subscribing great content keep up the hard work!
My sister & her husband used to have one of these, LOVED IT!
fact of the matter is their is no demand for big sedans. Suvs have replaced that, purely because they are more practical,c arry more and u sit up higher.
Yay
Saabkyle04 just entered the chat
GM had resisted changing to one key meaning they were the last automakers to still have 2 keys
We’re not going to talk about that Eaton supercharger in the backseat? 😮
I own a 94 sedan and I absolutely agree, this was the last of the traditional American sedan, my only wish was that they made a coupe along with the sedan and wagon
I WANT THAT DASH MAT!!! LOL mine is cracked bad! Great video man!
love that car , the oldsmobile custom is my favorite on the platform
i like roadmaster. those radios were nice. big powerful engine.
Nice review ...thank you.
Interesting. I love the 80s and 90s d and b body cars. And I only just realized right now that the Pontiac perisienne I grew up driving in was not a G-Body, it was also a b body.
The 90s B&D bodies are some of my fav rides. The Roadmaster, The Caprice LTZ, the Impala, the roadmaster and the Fleetwood are some of very few cars that the 4 door only option doesnt bother me at all.
Finally the Roadmaster is here
what brand and style of wheels are those on this roadmaster.would like to get me a set for my 95 model.thanks
Man I would LOVE to have one of these cars
Sort of strange that the Twilight Sentinel headlamp system wasn't equipped for that car.
Love the video I have a 1996 model and love it
My Grandma had a 94. Beautiful comfy car
It used to be about comfort, quality & power. Now its 100% utility with 4 cyl that sound like a baby fart. SAD. They don't make beauties like this anymore.
I just bought a 94 with 53,000 miles original and the lt1
Lazy V8 LT1 260hp but 330 ft lbs in the 90's it was the car this Impala caprice and TA and Camaro with a few upgrades it really wakes up!
Good call
Hey Zach my buddy has the same car a but the color is driftwood I've been debating on buying it also believe it or not my dad found a Buick Roadmaster 1947 and also a 48 Roadmaster so what do you think should I buy the 95 and 48?
Is the car supposed to be used every day? Buy the 94. Used once a month? Buy the 48. Love Buicks? Buy both.
Wow the end was unexpected❤
Beautiful car.
2:40 They held off on content for the Roadmaster because the Park Avenue was considered the top-of-the-line Buick. Apart from more comfy seats, a tach, and other lil doodads above the Roadmaster, the Park Avenue did get dual-zone climate control (in the Ultras, which also came with superchargers)... despite the fact that the Park Avenue was a FWD C-Body and about 10 inches shorter. Yes, it is as stupid as it sounds.
I own a '95 RM Limited. Of course LT-1. Currently 68k Miles on and still virgin! No plans on divorcing :)
Cool Car 😀
Lovely car kook great
How much Dinero$$? Love those Roadmasters from 1994-96. Mileage?
hell yea
Had a '94 seadan. This was the last of the great GM cars. Everything else has
gone WAY down hill. Wish I had one again..,.
LFOD !
#dailydriven
The end made me 🥲
Take care
I own a 95 same color. She's called bonnie. No vinyl top, lighter color seats and original paint.
You have got to test a Buick Olds Pontiac with a 455 from the mid 70s or a Merc or Lincoln with a 460. This roadmaster can't hold a candle to them.
We gotta race, my Camry vs this car I'm boosted.
Too bad you couldn't have found a nicer example to do a video on. That 'ol girl is rough ! I used to own a '96 Roadie wagon.
Is the Buick Road master, the smoothest riding car ever made,? I think so.
Molo Nguni nantso ke 1995 Chev
I disagree on the harsh ride comments. New independent rear gm full-size trucks ride great.
One heck of a car! Don´t like the wheels, though.
I've never had compliments for these cars. Still don't.
2:47 Totally disagree. I love me a stock Delco unit. lolz
The sounds of my childhood. Delco radios are pure bliss
I hate crossovers!!!
Some of the worst wheels I've ever seen on one of these...
It must smell awful inside this old cruiser.
Not necessarily. My '99 crown vic still smells almost brand new.
Not at all! Smells just fine. We go grocery shopping and everything. Unless you're talking about the fumes from the cold start. But he let's it warm up first B4 we take off ☺️🤭😉
The same way mk4’s and e36’s smell like crayons forever. These just have a strong leather smell
Your voice always peaks the mic and makes it very uncomfortable to listen to.
THESE WERE JUNK! SO MANY ENDED UP IN THE JUNK YARDS! SO MANY THINGS ON THESE ROAD MASTERS' WERE ENDLESS MONEY PITS! TRASH! 😣😣😤😤
Lol
Sounds like you might have had one. Might have f'd yours up a bit..Probably because you didn't know what you had under the hood and kicking in the back with the RW. Maybe next time take it a little slower 😉
@@saraht.3459He/she might have a point. I would often see the Caprice either broke down or on the back of the tow truck.
