    Im buying a 1992 white limited Roadmaster this week from a fantastic couple in Little falls NY, its a great machine with 180k on the odom and they kept all records for the past 27 years,, this car has seen no winters/salt all its life and I promised them I will keep her salt free as well!

      @@themagicboy6548 I have one. A 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. Poor thing has 238k miles and needs a bit of work. It's all worth it, but be nice to have a brand new one exactly like it. Granted, it is fun to bring it back to its original glory, but also means I don't daily drive it. You really can't go wrong with the wagon

      @@themagicboy6548 I am hoping my transmission is good. I mean, thankfully, it shifts smooth lol. It's nice hearing though that you are keeping it going and did replace the transmission rather than junking it!

    I miss these cars. I drive a 1993 Lincoln Town Car. The Roadmaster was a clear choice for me. The couple I looked at were not well kept, the Lincoln I bought was a garage queen, and a total cream puff.

    It’s too bad Buick has forsaken this model. I contend that if they were to bring back a truly full-sized luxury sedan with plush, cloth interiors and design elements, they’d have customers lined up at the door.

      They missed that boat by 15 years the time was when chrysler released the 300 in 2005 that was the perfect time for a modern RWD Fullsize roadmaster debut

      @@jnkn3497 I think nearly about 20-30 still exist in Russia. More chevy caprices and some Cadillac Fleetwood cars. Buick never had official dealership in Russia.

      @@Stopkin87 yeah I would think they would be few and far between. Even here in the United States, I live in Pennsylvania, to see or buy a nice roadmaster is pretty scarce. Plus the people who do own them don’t want to sell. But I’m happy! Cause I’m currently driving an 89’ Cadillac brougham and I love it. Runs great and I only paid 2500 bucks. One day I will buy a roadmaster though.

    Got my drivers license in my mother's white '92 sedan. It was quiet as a tomb, more comfortable than most and was pretty quick feeling with that 3.23 rear axle

    I miss these good ole Buicks looking at this makes me sad my late aunt had a '95 Roadmaster she loved that car she was a Buick fan that was how I grew up on Buick these cars will always hold special place in my heart.

      @@chasechildress2720 she got confused pressing the accelerator by accident, Thank God it happened in the parking lot. It was early one morning she was dropping off her niece at college campus she told us when she got out of the car she heard screeching our aunt which was in her late 80s veil off into Fred's parking lot went across three bumps the last bump she airborne her car came to rest right by a church that was next to store. That same day we took get a new car she bought a Ford Fusion she hated that car because she was more GM person when we were at the Ford dealer I walked over looked at Grand Marquis she followed me over there my mother told her get away from those big cars ... LOL because she was used to driving those bigger cars that Roadmaster was her pride and joy though she tore some stuff up in it she really loved that car I did as well it was a beautiful car had one of the smoothest rides.

    The '92 Roadmasters were good cars, but the ones to have are the '94 to '96 models with the LT1 260-hp engine!

      @@juanserrano3871 Here you go Mr. Serrano: The 1992 LT1 in the Y-body was factory rated at 300 hp (220 kW) and 330 lb⋅ft (447 N⋅m). 96 LT1 Y-bodies were rated at 300 hp (220 kW) and 340 lb⋅ft (461 N⋅m). The 93-95 F-bodies were rated at 275 hp (205 kW) and 325 lb⋅ft (441 N⋅m), while the 96-97 cars were rated at 285 hp (213 kW) and 335 lb⋅ft (454 N⋅m). The 96-97 WS6 and SS F-bodies were rated at 305 hp (227 kW). The 94-96 B and D-body version was rated at 260 hp (194 kW) and 330 lb⋅ft (447 N⋅m).

      1994-1996 Impala, Caprice, and Roadmaster are considered "B" bodies. The 260HP is due to the heads not being aluminum as in the Corvette. Hope you have one and enjoy it. Cars today are much too small inside and all look the same outside. At one time I had the Roadmaster, Park Ave, Le Sabre and the Century at the same time. Lt1, (2) 3800's and 3300 engines.     I my first car was the '95 Buick roadmaster limited with the 5.7 v8 with the Lt1 i put flowmasters and 350 engine on 26's with 4 15's roxfordfasgate speakers it has currently 325 thousand miles

    That's why I'm never going to sell my 08 Town Car I will drive it until it dies it's the closest you can get to this kind of body-on-frame American sedan but modern enough to handle daily driving.
    If gm didn't kill the b body I'd have one no question

      Indeed. The Town Car was built too well, probably not enough profit in it. Owners keep them forever, they were often used for livery as they can last a few hundred thousand miles with ease.

    Just something I've noticed. A lot of the features that came on the limited and not the base sedan also came on the Estate Wagon trim. I daily my Roadmaster Estate and still love it! I have some vids of it too!

    I inherited my dads 92. Now I have a 96 with 22,641 original owner miles bought in 2016 from the widow of the 92 yr old gentleman that bought it. Black on maroon with the tow package. Love it. Currently have it in Germany where I am stationed.

    I've always loved these Roadmasters and I've wanted one for years. Odd how GM admits that they left a part of the market behind when they went to the FWD full size cars in '85. Odd how they felt the need to bring it back on '91, only to kill it again in '96, which allowed Ford to single handedly own this segment until 2011. While they will never come back, there's still a market for these cars. I'm not old by any means (under 30) and I'd buy a full sized RWD GM car TOMORROW if they made them again.

    This is the type of car you get when it's 100% built by American hands by American standards in an American manufacturer. And I'm so so sad for how it becomes. Nowadays lot of U.S.A-brands cars we get here in the middle east were assembled in different countries by short guys with small eyes. And that's NOT GOOD!

    Nice training video. My Buick service mgr said years ago my 96 Park Ave Ultra was still the flagship. The Roadmaster was purely a cash grab. I had a 1985 Buick LeSabre sedan back in the day, front wheel or rear wheel, no biggie. My last Buick would have been a 2019 LaCrosse except for deal breaker stop/start. I went Chevy Impala V6 with 6 speed tranny, my 3rd Chevy lately.

      AI3xZJE41 YT The LS400 is a nice car (We had a 95 you can see on my channel) but the Roadmaster is much more smoother and floatier car. You also feel a lot more in charge of the road with the Roadmaster. My Roadmaster surprisingly outlasted our LS, but then again both are VERY reliable cars.

      Caprices came with 4.3l V6 or 5.0 V8 in '92, the 5.7l was optional and if I'm right only available on the police versions. Roadmaster comes with the 5.7 only.
