Hey, I have schizo affected disorder bi polar type. A lot of people who aren't mentally ill are very intrigued by hallucinations. I myself can get ideas from them for artwork. If I draw for a while and then close my eyes I'll see better artwork than I can do. I remember before I was diagnosed I smelled smoke and thought my soul was on fire. A famous Buddhist talked about getting a smell when meditating. Even St Paul of the Bible wrote about a " sweet savor".
