This saw is a beast. It does eat batteries czcams.com/users/postUgkxkgtf23NRld6bKLCxmOpLdl8xZmfz8Wbq but I can live with that.What is troubling is the fact that blades don't seem to last more than three cuts and are no longer blades.The saw, itself, is pretty much perfect... and $90 overpriced, at least.

Yeah that's pretty much my take on it too.
Я складывал в большую стопу дровяную обрезь с пилорамы в метровую высоту между двух стоек и моментом разделал три кубометра без этих заумных проектов.
О, и я так делаю!

Great design,if someone looks at msterial hes cutting it is treated lumber. To use it as firewood is not considered safe due to toxic fumes released while burning. These fumes will cause symtoms related to chemical pneuemonia. Trees are ok but be careful if any vines are encountered,posion sumac,ivy,oak and saw briars also emit posionous gases when burnt. Be aware of what you are preparing to burn as fire making materials. Its mainly the lungs that get hurt when burning these noxious material. They can put you on a oxygen ventilator for the rest of your life.

you are correct. I suspect though that is the least of his worries. In New Zealand we would could what he is doing a death wish. No goggles, weakened chain bar, just everything that could go wrong is terrifying.

Ну и живи дальше.Это глупо и опасно. Называется это страданием ку...й. Для таких вещей есть циркулярка . В любой инструкции написано. Используйте по назначению.

Для подобного у меня 40 лет циркулярка,и для более сложных дел. Использовать так бензопилу опасно и очень дорого.

Just like the soundtrack. Safety glasses on top of head is a real giveaway. If doing this the timber should be against the saw body, not out front where it can be snatched out of hands.
As TV presenters always say when doing something slightly dangerous, "Don't try this at home".
I'm guilty of improper use of tools, but this is dangerous. Creative, but dangerous. Someone is going to copy this and lose a body part.
And yet ANOTHER good way to rid yourself of those useless, pesky fingers.

Владимир! на 100% с вамим согласен. От циркулярки было бы меньше опилок, быстрее , дешевле по себестоимости т. к.( электричество дешевле, чем бензин+ масло в редукторе), и в какой-то мере и безопаснее
Я вам напомню при таком использовании бензопилы очень быстро выходит из строя шина так как вся нагрузка приходится на подшибник шины всё

Thank you. I thought the same thing when I saw the end result. Could have stacked a couple of feet of board and just ran the saw right through it while holding it in his hand.

Szkoda pliwa drogiego i tej piły. Od takiego cięcia jest piła stołowa na prąd. Tańsza w użyciu i cichsza. Dla mnie bezzens.
Nie zauważył kolega , że pomysł z rejonu , gdzie nie wdać ani sąsiadów ani słupów elektrycznych. jest w tych rejonach jednak cos takiego jak deputat na benzyne i inne paliwa płynne. żaden bezsens. Taki mają klimat

Why not use a compound mitre saw which is way more safer and 10" or 12" blade would last SUBSTANTIALLY LONGER then chain saw blade.

с козлами-то проще. Стопку уложил и за один присест распилил. Для козла нужно обрезок бревна до 2-х метров и 6-ти метровый брусок 50 на 50. Делается за 1 час.

Great for firewood cutting. That way you don't have to hang on to that light saw. You can just hold the heavy log over the saw. Brilliant. Youn could also mount a vacuum cleaner to a saw horse and then sweep the floor and drop the dirt into the vacuum cleaner.

For 150€ one can buy very descent table saw with safety gard together with base frame for working on construction site.
This is one of clear cases when one reinvents the wheel and breaks many safety recommendations. Bad practice, lousy invention.
