Decided to make a video in a bit of a different style! Appreciate it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but thought I’d try something different 🙂
Back to normal programming soon 🫡
Great Video
More stuff like this!!
It’s a really great video, but my only complaint is that the knife ching was overused after the second time, other than that it’s really good 😊
I’m new too the channel but I appreciate how you delivered this.
I liked it. Thanks. Don't know other videos but wondered about story behind film.
This is the closest we'll get to a Grand theft Auto movie right now.
Bro rs💀💯
The Heat (1995) inspired bunch of scenes in GTA V
The police doing nothing even with mountain of evidence is the most realistic thing from this movie
😂
I love how the police stopped giving a shit once he stopped being rich.
To be fair being fucked up and drunk AF and telling a story about ninja bodybuilders kidnapping you does sound borderline insane.
ya it sounds like the police rightfully looked at it as a drunk telling some wild story to get out of a DUI.
Being a Cop is being incompetent on life
This story is batshit insane and it’s even more ridiculous that it’s really happened
You must have never lived in Florida. Just another day
Yeah the story is almost like a fiction because of how crazy it is, but this shit really happened
They took a great deal of "artistic liberties" with the movie production. But the story as a whole is still pretty insane!! Daniel Lugo really is dumb as a stump for thinking he can get away with this. His crew must've been even dumber. 😂
😅
When reality is stranger then fiction
Always has been.
When reality is [stranger than] fiction?
The movie seemed to be pretty spot on atleast lol
Tried to be profound but doesn't know the difference between than and then.
@brandonlee747 sorry didn't think my comment would attract the attention of a such a wise and smart person, someone who's never made a grammatical mistake in his life, I bow to you good sir and to your genius.
The "this is still a true story" reminder 2/3 into the movie is definitely warranted. I'm sure this is just another Tuesday by Florida's standards but the absurdity of this case blows my mind. I thought for sure the movie had to have exaggerated what happened because who can be THAT incompetent, right?
You'd be suprised. "There are two infinite things in this world, universe and humans stupidity and I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
Nigga wtf are you talking about another Tuesday in Florida the whole state don't get down the same bro
Mami doesn't account for everything Florida.
To be fair, they had already basically gotten away with the first crime since the cops didn't believe the Sun Gym Gang's first victim who survived the kidnapping and murder attempt. Sure these guys were idiots, but they probably could have made off with the first guy's money if they didn't get greedy and murder the rich couple.
“Don’t you think we deserve better? look at us man we’re like Superman I mean come on!!!” The wolf of Wall Street, pain and gain, and Scarface are some goated movies
Ambitious guys going about it in all the wrong ways
@@lucasmungoni5580Nah, the victim was a greedy, stuck-up asshole. They did good.
The craziest part of the story is that the guy is still on death row nearly 30 years later
Lugo is still alive???
@@Jadensdivineif he believe’s he deserve’s it the Universe will Serve it
@@Jadensdivine Looking tough feeling tough
Average death row inmate stays on death row 40+ years before execution it's not crazy it's bullshit.
@@Jadensdivine Yes still says he is innocent. Love the US justice system.
Anthony Mackie character face after being sentenced was hilarious to me when u first seen this movie
My ex wife's new boyfriend who was good at real-estate was approached by Lugo in Miami to start a business but when he saw that Lugo new nothing about finance or real-estate he just ignored his proposals
I wonder what he was like in person, to really talk to.
Probably a compulsive liar
Finance is fictional. He didnt know how to market behaviors with that fiction?
I smell cap
@@israelgarcia6615definitely and dudes last name is Lugo he told that bs story people will lie for anything
My mums mum fucked a man and decades later i was born.
Who gives a fuck about ya x wife new fucking boyfreind but you?
GET OVER HER CREEP!
I remember going to the cinema to watch this film when it came out. I even bought the dvd when it came out. At the start of the film it says that it’s a true story… as I sat and watched it, I couldn’t believe what they were doing. It’s a great film, but I feel like it’s a bit of a shame these wallies were played by these actors. I feel like they didn’t deserve that casting. They probably revel in that… imagine being a total scumbag and have mark whalberg play you in a movie. Dam.
And imagine having The Rock play you in the movie. They're still alive so, they'll definitely revel in that.
That’s like the wolf of street too and anything based on true story. They’re gonna have an actor play them whether they were good people or not so it doesn’t matter
Yeah you absolute tool, you’re missing the point I made, lad. Of course they use actors in films. I’m saying using the rock and mark, some of Hollywood’s highest paid actors is too much of a compliment, which they probably enjoy. Wake up lad.
Well I mean Mark Walberg is a scumbag himself with a history of hate crimes with little to no form of responsibility being takin for those actions. Have the your character played by the rock though totally agree much more then this guy deserved
Michael Bay for you, average director with a big budget
For the record the movie was hilarious and Dark at the same time.
One of my favourites
@@bigcraigyt 🙌🏽🥃
@@bigcraigytliterally my favorite movie. Sad thing is I can't get anybody else to watch it and most haven't heard of it.
First time I saw the movie, I heard the "This is a true story line" and proceeded to laugh my @$$ of. Then when the Rock was grilling the parts, it reminded us it was a true story, and I felt kind of bad I was enjoying myself so much.
This actually gave me a greater appreciation for that movie, as much as the characters are off via the real ones the story itself is more accurate than I realized I had just thought they were doing things overboard Hollywood style but in reality it was lighter on crazy compared to the actual story lol wtf.
"In fact, the only thing they weren't find guilty of was the thing they were most guilty of: being dumb stupid fucks" Ed Harris as Ed DuBois in "Pain & gain" (2013). Man, these guys were brutal!
What do you call the cops then
Huh? @@nirmaljacob3968
@@nirmaljacob3968Cops.are heros
It’s insane that they would had gotten away with it if they didn’t try to redo it
Wrong. I fact they would have got away with it if it wasn’t for that woman’s breast implants
I remember when the movie was coming out. A lot of people were outraged that they made this story into a comedy. I felt bad watching it, but it’s so good!
Same with 30 Minutes or Less
I think they overestimate delgado by using the rock lol
The rock wasn’t *exactly* Delgado and was supposed to be a mix of him and weekes, but he is still way too big to play either lmao.
I always felt weird they took this dark story and made it a comedy
Who cares? You wouldn’t know about this case if it wasn’t for the movie anyways
I can't fully disagree with you given that the most traumatic time in that guy's life got played for laughs essentially. At the same time the fact these dudes were sociopathic, roided upThree Stooges can't be ignored either.
@@imanoldurango8213what are u talking about? Maybe they never seem the movie and only heard about it from CZcams 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
It is kinda funny because of how incompetent both kidnappers and police were. It's not funny if it were to happen to you and/or you still have to live in this country, I guess.
It is funny is dark way like these dudes were truly high level idiots. 7 kidnapping attempts lmao
This is one of my favorite movies
Mine too lmao that’s what inspired it
Great video, the editing is so consistent all the way through🙌 Awesome story telling as well!
Thank you! 🙏
This story is so wild when i watched the movie i kept having to remind myself, that it is real.
I remember this like it was yesterday... It was during the summer between my Junior and Senior year of high school. The fact that Michael Bay managed to turn material this dark into a comedy of sorts, is a testament to how genuinely F**KED UP Hollywood is!! 😂 😂
This a crazy story that truly reflects what happens when a bunch of ego-driven, low IQ meatheads get together, fuel themselves with drugs and try to cheat the game of life by abandoning their morals and taking the cheap and easy route. Amazing to see how things escalated and truly spiralled out of control to the point of no return. Really enjoyed this one Big Craig and it was exceptionally well edited. Might have to revisit this film.
Unfortunately this is what Mexico is massively about. Everything is just about the same except being meatheads because most Mexicans cant gain or lose an ounce of fat or muscle. Not evern air or water weight. But its scary that theyre coming into our country now, even more tempted by whats around them.
Its not a gym. Its a portion of the slave system thats marketed as one-elementary school knowledge. Is he one that was tortured into only appearing to be learning in [school]?
They got further than most would get lol. But yea they are definitely idiots ha ha
Nomad you're on point. Couldn't agree more
@@bunk95what on earth are you on about? If the elementary system is slavery for you, you don't know anything about real life.
I always wanted to know the full story behind this movie. And after so many years finally found a video covering it fully and well. Thank you
I understand why the victims didn't like the movie.
O my god, they kidnapped mr Monk 😂
I remember seeing that movie- This video is just as great as the movie was! Well done!!!
Wow thank you 😊
What an amazing cast!!
Damn I forgot about this movie The Rock was hilarious in this😂
Wild. Absolutely wild
*STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES EVER DUDE LETS GO🔥🔥🔥*
“My name is Daniel Lugo and I believe in fitness.”
I thought the movie had exaggerated stuff for movie purposes. These guys were psychopats and incredibly incompetent. Roods must give you boundless energy to do all the crap they did.
That opening scene was epic!
This is got to be like the funniest true story that I’ve ever witnessed I mean it’s so brutal, but I can’t stop laughing. 😅
That movie was crazy, I thought it was a joke until I saw the ending
This Daniel guy sound like a doer
What the F*CK did I just listen to, and how did I end up here? I am enchanted at the combination of bone deep stupidity and venality. This story is one HELL of a ride.
I remember this being on the news when I was a kid
"This was foiled when he turned off the highway."
Ya just can't expect to catch someone with such evasion skills.
I remember reading the articles that the film was based on when they were first published.
Its sickening that they made a movie about the murderers like they are inpirational personalities. What is worse is that its a slap in a face to the victims loved ones.
One of the funniest movie I ever saw. Didnt even know that it was based on a true story.
Wow, those cops bungled this shit hard
There is actually even more to this story. Much more.
The Rolling Stones did a big long article on this and it is fascinating.
This really could have been a whole series instead of a 2 hour movie
Yeah there was tonnes I could have covered but I would have ended up making a movie too 😂
When the Lugo sounds like lougle right in front of lougle himself 😂
Life will give Lugo another set, and he will be ready!
I have never watched this movie but thanks to you I’m bout to go watch
Enjoy!
It's actually kindve sick to think Hollywood actually made a movie about these guys and gave them even a little bit of fame they didn't deserve an ounce of it
I agree but tbf that’s not how Hollywood sees things… weird story that can make money especially if we make it a dark comedy that’s how they saw it and how we as the audience will see it… I found the movie hilarious but yeah it’s dark and tragic for everyone involved including the dumbass criminals 😊
@@jamesgraves4724 nah idk I liked the movie BUT I didn't find it hilarious if anything I didn't really laugh. I was more intrigued by the visual
Yet you watched it apparently???
@@justinspires4131 I watched the movie when I was naive and didn't know the exact context of what actually happened... Most people here watched the movie before finding out what actually happened so what are you even saying. Just taking time out your life to just come at me I bet
I just got a gym supplement add that I’ve never seen before. They really saw the word gym in the title and went “oh yeah, we’ll just advertise this random person who doesn’t watch any gym related videos this product they will never use.”
If you watch a gym video your going to get a gym ad. It would not make sence if you were watching a gym video and u got a kfc commercial
You should get in the gym and start the beautiful journey of fitness. My pump makes my day sometimes and if you throw in some cardio a few times a week you’ll be inspired to eat healthy. Fast forward a few months, you’re a mentally/phsyically healthier person
the families of the victims sued the studio that made this for turning a tragic situation into a comedy the families of the victims in 30 minutes or less did same thing when that movie came out
there's a documentary on this...the actual story is even crazier than the movie
I wish they made the movie more accurate. This is a good segment on the real story
Truth is madder than fiction
Damn, an HK P7?? That’s a pricy pistol, even then.
Literally what's the point of issuing a death sentence if you're gonna keep them alive for 50+ years??
The main reason is that for the possibility of the sentences get overturned. Like from death sentence to life sentence. America have a lot of history of killing people that innocent. By letting them live for decades making the possibility of them innocent or guilty increased. There some case that people getting a death sentences as innocent after decades in prison
@@tandraarisandi6680but in this case they have like every evidence imaginable, like Fuck. What can prove them innocent now.
Incredible, no wonder they made documentary
i like how you lined the movies interpratation up with the story
They're still alive?! What's even the point of death row now? Even with the evidence & admittance. Still can't do nothing.
They're just living the American Dream
A lot of innocent people have died on death row in the past because of the lack of time needed to appeal so that's why the procedure is so long. I would rather have a guilty individual in death row for 30 years than an innocent guy killed in death row
What Screencrazetop10 said. The other thing is, spending many years in prison is torture as you have no freedom to do what you like or eat anything good. Then again, that's the point as prisons are meant to house some of the worst of humanity and to make them serve as examples.
I lost it when they missed him
I came into this video thinking it was gonna cover a hate crime based on the thumbnail
Im gonna have to see the movie now

We gonna need more info about that woman for research purposes
The fact no one beleived shiller killed me for some reason 😂😂😂
Madness
When watching the film and especially towards the end with the chopping up of that woman and grilling of the body parts, I was like, wow!
But having it spoken to me through this video and explained with all the real ppl involved I got a completely different reaction! This shit was crazy asf!!! Just casually buying chainsaws and hatchets to chop up a body then fukn grilling the hands etc, along with the kidnappings, tranquillisers, not being believed by the cops that you’ve been extorted by 3 body building ninjas, it’s all just fukn mental and no wonder there was a film made about it. It’s almost too unbelievable to be true 😂😂😂
my favorite movie till this day!!!
after watching i'll always feel like conquering the world 😂😂
Wtaf this is crazy 🤯🤯🤯
I read The NY Times when the movie came out, it’s a hilarious clumsy tale of dumb criminals
Were only 2 and a half minutes into the video but we need a recap
This is insane
That was a riveting tale. Is the movie as entertaining??
The movies sick
Definitely
I love this movie but damn did they cut out a lot!
Being too lazy to take out the trash from one month prior is wild af😂😂
Money makes people do crazy things. Its caused wars, genocide, and slavery. Its not just having money that matters but how you make said money.
Money earned by deception and blood always ends up souring in the end.
This is comedy at its fucking best.
Painful to see this
From Argentina but goes back home to Colombia 🤣 makes sense
Argentina was in a dictatorship and his wife was Colombian
It's sad for the victims but pain and gain is a brilliant film.
"for a serious of"
It's like people never proofread their descriptions...
Underrated movie. Im gonna go catch a pump now.
Damn i wonder how much Schiller got in compensation from the police if anything?
Not from the steroids. No he had these murderous ways. The steroids just finely tuned such poisonous ways.
Born and raised in Miami. Look up the new times Miami story. It's batshit crazy
I was in movie and knew all the true life characters portrayed in the movie.
