Helaena Targaryen Has Already Seen The Horrifying Ending of House of the Dragon & Game of Thrones!

- Welcome back for another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon video. In this video, I will be talking about Helaena Targaryen's dreams and/or visions. As you all know, Helaena Targaryen has the ability to see certain events before they happen. This was set up in the first season of House of the Dragon, when Helaena foresaw Aemond Targaryen losing his eye, and Rhaenys Targaryen crashing Aegon's coronation. Now she has foreseen the infamous Blood & Cheese scene, during House of the Dragon season 2 episode 1. Thanks to HBO's behind the scenes video, we have now seen Helaena's other drawings from her dreams. This revealed Helaena can see events hundreds of years before they happen. Helaena Targaryen has seen Daenerys birth her dragons, among many other things. What does this ultimately say about her character? Does Helaena Targaryen know how House of the Dragon or Game of Thrones ends? Has she seen Aegon's dream of A song of ice and fire? I believe she will reveal that before House of the Dragon airs its final episode. Let me know what you think down below. Thanks for watching!

To me, when Helena stops on her way to her mothers chambers and takes a few quick breaths I though it was an indication she “felt” her son was now gone. She’s a very underrated, good actress
She fled her room in terror not knowing Exactly where she wanted to go. All she knew was that she needed to get away from blood and cheese. After getting a safe distance from her room she stopped and took a moment to decide where to go. She then decides to go to her mother's room.
Well she pretty much knew what happened to him while she was still in the bedroom and you can hear the beheading!
He was already gone while she was picking up her other child. You hear his struggling and then you don’t.
See I felt like she just didn't know who to go to. She's very isolated and none of the greens seem particularly close. So that moment felt like she was weighing her options and choose the default person, her mother, to go to. Looking at the situation she probably knew her one brother was gone, her brother/husband was drunk, and her mother was indisposed.
It was just panic attack
Maybe Helena will be able to tell us when Winds of Winter will be finished?

Dont know if anyone already said this but in Greek mythology there is a princess called Cassandra who is blessed/cursed with foresight and visions. The curse part of this is that no one believes her or remembers what she says after the event comes to pass. She could scream the proof to the sky that she predicted x y z, and no one willl ever believe her. She is thought to be insane and lives a very lonely, scared existence inside her own head, knowing the horrible things that will happen and also knowing that she can't stop them, because no one will listen.
Think it might be something like that?
Helaena knows the fate of House Targaryen. She’s an amazing character.
Definitely agree, she is a pivotal character. her words hold weight though she may not know it fully.
I dont know enough about the lore to know what exactly she's seeing, but symptomatically I think she's on what we would call now, The Spectrum. She can't verbalize well what she's seeing. She also can't tell what's a dream and what's real. It's like waking up from a bad dream and you have to convince yourself it wasn't real. She's stuck in that place between dream and reality and can't tell or talk about what she's seeing. As a vivid dreamer, it's scary enough but imagine dreaming something horrible, then that actually happening. Id be traumatized too, and I think Helaena is stuck in a perpetual state of trauma and shock. We know that as the viewer/reader, she doesn't.
(As someone on the spectrum, I say yep. I love her to death...immediately was drawn to her).
In the shoe last week paused scene and look at wall Writing on the wall showing blood and cheese and future events coming
Or she has the ability to see the future! Everyone is reading into these characters way too much!

@@laurafabianmarrero Her foresight is obvious to us, not them (in the show/movie) that's my point. I also think GRRM put characters like her into it as an allegory for people with things we consider as disabled, special, afflicted, on the spectrum. If you cant see that, than you arent understanding it deep enough. 🤷
Helena looks up as the flowers (?) are being cast down from the bridge during the funeral procession. This made me wonder if she had a vision into the future and saw the burning of Kings Landing.

Did anyone else notice when Helena told Aegon she was afraid of the rats; that she looked directly at the bed of Jaehaerys, the one he was sleeping in that night of Blood & Cheese?

Helaena is like the Greek, tragic figure Cassandra. Cursed by the gods with a gift of foresight, but no one would ever believe her when she announced Doom. Also a product of inbreeding, there may be some "abnormalities" within the Targareans gene pool.
Haelaena kept looking at the flower petals falling during the procession …and Rhaenyra kept looking at the dust (?) in the air in her room before the attempt on her life

What is most tragic about Helena is she is basically completely ignored and neglected because there’s “more important” things going on. She will be victimized by both sides and blown off as crazy.
I think in episode 2 when Haelena sees the flowers that are being thrown by the women in the street she sees the ashes falling from in the end events to come,from the many dragon battles to come.

Maybe also she gets a glimpse of Kings Landing after Danaerys burns it down? 🤔
@@TheWiseRaven At first I thought Rhaenera as be a possibility, though Dany might be more accurate since she hasn't had long term, if any attachment to King's Landing while both Rhaenera and Syrax both grew up there. Daemon...depending on the show events could be a possibility since he hates the Greens that much. I don't think neither Hugh Hammer, nor Adam of Hull forced their way given what may most likely still happen to them individually.

As much as i hate the Greens I've come to live Heleana. She's so sweet and innocent but is misunderstood and often ignored. I hated how Aegon wouldn't even say anything to her or try to console her. Her visions sre coming true.
I also took it that they didn’t have to say anything. They looked at each other in pain on the steps. She nodded, as if she understood his pain. Aegon can only verbalize anger. It’s the only emotion he ever saw himself, besides hate and pity.
AT THE BEGGINING of episode she IS WHISPERING "They only want the boy" check when Aegon enters her chamvers and is looking for little Jaeherys, just moment before that she is sewing and talking to herself
Helena is like Cassandra, cursed with the gift of sight, unable to change the future nor convince people of her visions

I love Helaena. Digging into the complex characters is part of what makes this story so interesting. Will she remain a peripheral character having prescient dreams of importance? Tonight's episode is mere hours away and I can feel the excitement mounting.
Btw, that drawing Haelaena did of the stag with the crown on its head does have antlers. See all those marks above its crown? Don’t focus on those, but look for the outlines of the antlers. They’re right there. They’re towards the back of the crown.☺️👍🏻

@@outcastassets6863 exactly. House of dragons is OK in my opinion, but I do not think it comes close to Game of Thrones especially the first four seasons. I remember having so many favorite characters as the show went on. So far, I don’t feel like that about any of these characters. Just my opinion.
@@dominicmcfeeley4142 yea it’s just not the same. Our only hope is HBO swallows their pride and remakes season 8. Make 3 new seasons with the original cast and give us a full, earned ending.

I think she reacted the way she did to blood and cheese bcuz she wasn’t really sure if it was real or not until she realized she wasn’t dreaming. Immediately after it’s like something clicked and she broke down. 😢

It would be awesome if we could glimpse one of her dreams which she sees someone she doesn’t know but turns out to be Bran the 3 eyed Raven with him and her working with Sam and other Maesters to write the true correct history. It would actually be awesome is we learn Bran is the one that flooded Aegon the conqueror with the dreams of the white walkers of both the future of Aegon/past of Bran
I hope she continues to develop her skills as the series progresses. Such a gift, but she could be one of the most powerful assets of the Greens (if her talents don’t go unnoticed)

Honestly, Aegon isn’t a bad person, he was forced into the throne over fear; and didn’t order the murder of Rahneera nor her kin; he just wanted them to bend the knee. He only snaps are his beloved Jaeherys is killed in retaliation of what Aemon did to Lucerys.
It will help if she would communicate her feeling a lil more explicitly. She has enough proof by now to know what she see are premonitions

Friend please do a Video about all the Magical and Fantasy element we might see this season or in this series i dont think well get any crazy White Walker lore. Also i think its cool how they started season 2 episode 1 with a raven delivering the news of the death to Winterfell why would they start the season with a Raven
It also looks like all her visions are happening at the same time to her... She's not been able to develop interpretation well enough to tell a timescale, so she sees horrible things and never knows if she will see them come to pass.

Incredible face acting
On the bottom right you can see what looks like Joffery with a snake crawling out of his mouth and possibly Cersi and another man maybe Tyrion. You can also see the raven to the left of that pic flying over what looks like a White Walker. Then in the middle of it all you see is two eyes right dead center of everything. Either that is Helena's eyes showing herself seeing all this or it is someone pulling the strings from far away like Bran. Or it is Aemond as the same eye he lost is visibly different than the other. Or its Half of one persons face and half of another. Maybe Helena and Bran, or both queens.

@@kendonato1887I don’t think it will end that way. All since last season they’ve been subtly letting us know that the records of history are skewed. Besides what is the realm besides “a lie that we tell over and over and over again…” I think they’re telling us that the history we think we know is wrong. It won’t end that way. Even Martin said that nobody really knows what happened. Those accounts were written years and years later by people who had allegiances to one side or another. I definitely don’t think Rhaenyra is going to go out like that though. They were kind of forced into a new story line anyway since in GOT Joffrey gave it “away”.

Daeron will be interesting if they introduce him this season. His blue dragon Tessarion always sounded cool in the books, and Daeron is more likeable than his brothers. With Otto heading back to Oldtown, it'll be nice to travel around a bit.

I think the headless dire wolves in Helaena's _dreams/ drawings of the headless dire wolves are Rob and Rickon Starks dire wolves. Season 1, Rob's dire wolf's head was cut off and sowed Onto Rob's body. Rickon's shaggy dog head was beheaded by Ramsey Bolton and thrown in front of Jon's and Sansa's feet. Just my thought.
If i remember correctly bloodraven hasn't even been born yet in house of the dragon, the only thing I can think of is if there is another 3 eyed raven before bloodraven

Most likely it will be replaced by a remake more faithful to the books.

Not gonna lie but after season 8, my intrigue in this white walker prophecy has diminished greatly. I really don't care since at the end the whites and the knight king turned into fodder and was just a over glorified sub-plot.

Helena causes the death of cole by telling her brothers just what cole was going with their mother, instead of protecting her and the children. Alicent in her grief accidentally pushes/causes Helena to fall out a window. And thats what Helena forgives Alicent for. for killing her.
Helena tends to speak of future events, makes no sense why she would suddenly bring up the past, no matter how long or tragic it was.
