  • This natural swim pond takes up the whole backyard. The owner could have done a lot of things with his money but instead he wanted a yard his boys and Family can create memories in.
Now they step out the back door and have their very own oasis.

Your son is doing such a great job with the camera! It’s good that y’all work so well together as a team and as a family… producing some phenomenal water features and rec ponds to die for!

Can't wait to see the finished swim pond...it will be amazing because like you said it will have a very intimate feel being in such an enclosed space. I know some of the best garden spaces I have ever created in my gardens were those small corner areas that are enclosed by a wall, fence and building. They always turn into those magical spaces that everyone gravitate towards. God bless

Hi, thank you very much for the video. Its a great project. I wonder what size of gravels you put at the bottom of the pond. I suppose debris will progressively get stuck in there despite jets and waterfall. Is there a need to clean the bottom from time to time and how do you do it ? Thank you.

Great question we only put 1 in of gravel in the bottom which does not allow for very much debris
We also educate the new owner on how important beneficial bacteria is which will break down the nutrients
