- The Snowdogs covering Fairies Wear Boots by Black Sabbath with our friend Jay sitting in on drums.*** Enough with the arse picking comments, it was a hot day and he was sitting on a wooden deck, any one of you would've done the same. Besides you should be watching the band and not a 12 year olds arse!
Recorded in Bradford, MA. (30 miles north of Boston) June 2022 - Hudba
Garage bands are so much fun. My brother was in one. Cold beer and CLASSIC ROCK.
This is the best version I have ever heard a band pull off.
True words my friend, great cover
Bill & Tommy would be sooo proud !! ,,, Geezer would be in tears !!
Seen Black Sabbo play in a high school gym in 1971.....totally blown away
Drummers got the groove locked down.
Awesome, guys! Real back porch rock!
You gents including RUSH GUY "Green Shirt. Phenomenal job maestros!!!!
Very good....just hope your neighbors enjoy Sabbath as much as I do.
That's effin rocknroll right there. Damn fine job by those boys.
I listen to Sabbath in my car all the time . I'm 65. Reality was the first album I ever bought in my early teens.
Tony, Geezer, Ozzy and Bill. It doesn't get any better!
I need neighbors like these guys!
Omfg..just killin' it on the back porch! Really nice!
Wow! One of thee hardest Sabbath songs to play! And these guys are nailing it!👍🤘❤
This was like one of the first Sabbath songs I learned to play as a teen. Sabbath was a close second to Zeppelin as my favorite. But then by the 80's Zeppelin ran away with it but the late '70's was a great time for rock music coming out
@@m42037
Were you asked to play there again or was it like the Doors on the Ed Sullivan show?
@@m42037
Oh okay okay.

Excellent job guys. Thank you. Music I my life and love.
Possibly my favorite Sabbath song, played perfectly
Awesome, you guys nailed it. Hope you realize how much us old Ozzie fans from the 70’s appreciate youth of today enjoying and replicating real Rock in American history. It means more to us than you realize. A bow to the youngest singer. Rock on till you die.
Black Sabbath was Brittish
✌️✌️✌️
@@salvdoredifallos Yeah I know, took awhile to get a reply on that. I thought it would be sooner.
Holy cow that is awesome! Hold onto that drummer for dear life.
...... you guys sounded perfect ! I'm 59 and I remember when this came out . Peace from Cass County Michigan ! Aaaaalll rrrrrrite now !
Fantastic, rock on brothers. I got that albam when it came out, yes im old.
That bassist is channeling his inner Geezer!!!!
has not left us bass players down, solid job and groove and the obligatory beard
Jay is channeling Bill Ward!
@@vermontbred ive seen OG Sabbath and saw them in '13. Id take this dude here over the jerk that replaced Ward. Ward is so rad though.
Excellent job on the mixing!
Absolutely
Kneel pert...noticed it when I came back to give a thumbs up.
U guys are Trully Awesome!!!
Love Black Sabbath!!
Y'all sound Just like them!
Nice, very Nice! I thought the trio was fantastic, then it became quartet, even better!🤟
This Black Sabbath cover was excellent. I actually watched it all the way to the end witch I rarely do with these types of bands. Just Excellent!!
agreed!

I saw them Dec 3rd 1976 it was Ozzy's 27th Birthday if I'm doing the math right. Greatest show ever. They played this! This is a top notch cover! Guitar is right on!
I love the way dudes drum sound. Sounds old school.
I wish you guys were my next door neighbor!!!🤘
Man, seeing this boy I'm sure the world still has salvation, animal....
Keep encouraging this boy...
I don't know what I love more, the LP double cut away, or that Franken-kit. I miss playing this kind of music. Now a days I'm in a group with a baby grand and 2 saxophones. Jazz is cool but Sabbath is fun.
Thanks! We're into jazz fusion too...The drummers Dad was a jazz drummer and got us into Weather Report and Billy Cobham etc. 🙂
These guys are great. I'd pay $20 to watch them 🤘
Great job guys real Nice!!!!!
I'm 66 years old and that was always my favorite Sabbath tune you guys kicked ass!!!
That shit rocked! Bravo gentlemen! Clap clap clap clap clap!
Bad Ass job gentlemen.
Geezer, Ward, Iommi and Ozzy would give a thumbs up.
Don't stop. You caught my attention.
The drummer is incredible!
Agreed
🔥🔥
Big shoes to fill, outstanding
Yep. He deserves a much better drum set & cymbals though.
Indeed! I'm realising how understated Bill Ward was as a drummer now.
Good ole Kneel Pert!
Absolutely outstanding cover. Exceptional skill from all of you. Even the young one jumping in at the end was good. Loved the ending with the addition of the ending of the song "Black Sabbath" from the first album. Clever.
1 of my favorites! Snowdogs sound like the real deal .
Sabbath still holds up 50 years later. A very solid jam.
This song sounds like it could have been released yesterday. 🎸
0zzy is losing his grip on life itself...
Fairies Wear Boots, yeahhhhhh you knowwwww....just a very solid jam.
More Sabbath please 😎
More old Sabbath please!!!!
You guys are amazing!!!!
Excellent Job all round. Rock On!!
Wow! 👏You all did the Brummie boys proud. Excellent guys, well done.
Very nice, you guys got it down.
Dam good stuff . Hard pounding love it
Legend has it, the neighbors have their house up for sale. Nice cover 👍🏼
Bass player nailing vintage Geezer tone and feel. This is a great recording for a backyard jam, everything can be heard in the mix. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
What a great recording! Such talent. I see why it has over 5k likes. Great work. Every musician is on point and the wandering kid is :: chef's kiss ::
That was fantastic! I am 58 years old and I know that music and have seen Sabbath, and that was perfect! And I loved it when the kid started singing too. Great job all of you! That made me happy to watch!
Rock and Roll lives forever!
Simply stupendous !!!!
'nuff said.
They could play in my garage anytime 👍👍 My 70's era neighbours would be right there bangin' their heads and beers beside me 🍻
Played music for ten years professionally you guys have my respect especially the bass player
Thank You!🙂
You deserve all the props you get bro from an anonymous bass player
I would've liked to hear the bass louder especially on a Sabbath song
@@jeanponce2017the bass guy really nails this !
Brilliant
Really , top job
I loved that you could see how much you allreally enjoyed playing this tune. Yeah 😀🎸🎶💖
Must have been one hell of a backyard concert...rock on!!!
The Drummer kicked ass! That was a great cover! Tight! My favorite song from the Paranoid Album! Saw their Master of Reality Tour in Chicago at the Opera House! They played Fairies wear Boots! Y'all did great! Guitar, Bass and vocals! Were Tight!
awesome & incredible and that drummer is just WOW!!!
Very tight! Great guitar tone. Really good playing. The bass sounds fantastic. Great playing on his end as well. Right in the pocket. The drummer definitely knows his kit. He’s very very good! He’a got that Bill Ward swing thing down. His kit sounds nice as well. The vocals sound good! Really liked the kid coming in singing along. This was great! I always felt like early Sabbath was a jazz and swing band with distortion. LOL!
Favorite Sabbath tune. Very prog for its time.
Sometimes, when you enjoy yourself, the whole neighborhood get to enjoy you too.
Very nice.
I don’t always listen to Black Sabbath…. But when I do, so do the neighbors!! Rock on
I am 65 I am been a Black Sabbath fan since time began from south Texas
Bill Ward had a very unorthodox way of playing. This drummer pulled it off really well, incredible
FUK YEAH SOUNDS AWESOME GREAT JOB GUYS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
That drummer is awesome 🤘😎👍
Snowdog your fantastic!🤘😎
And that's a beautiful drum kit too🤘🧚
The patience it takes to do this song right.!!! Drummer holding back the timing just right...both guitars perfect, and vocals were great too. Loved it..!! I was born in 69 and grew up listening to all this great music..
Got love how the kid jumps in
WOW!! That was TIGHT!!! Great Job everyone!
Loved when the kid came in on vocals!! I didn't expect that. And also loved the nod to the Black Sabbath/Black Sabbath ending!! Great Job fella's!!
YES! Great ending!
Yea after the kid pulled his wedgie out lol
Love the kid in yellow shirt. Hope he keeps singing, it's always brought me happiness.
Yeah as long as he stops picking his butt on camera unless that's a new instrument I don't know about
I like Rush, but Sabbath is my jam. Solidly done, gentlemen.
Totally two types of music it's all good though
Bingo, awesome guys 👍👍
Great job guys love Sabbath and rush.
Geddy can't carry Ozzies beer.
@@jaystrongbow9435Ozzy can't play Bass or anything else for that matter
Beautifully played…passion and groove!!! 👍
That's just damn fun there.. What a beautiful day for that.. Good Ole family time.. FUN
Bet the neighbors love these guys.
Great selection.
And btw the Bass player KILLS it
Nice black sabbath ending. Killer tone. 🎸
You guys are Tight! coming from a guy who got to see Black Sabbath in 1973 at age of 15
That's awesome...I'm jealous
I wasn’t born until 1973. You were fortunate to see them in their prime. Some of the best music that’s ever been made
love the kid waiting for his time to shine!!!!!!!!
Excellent Cover 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🗽
Wow really good, nice.🎸🎤🥁
Excellent playing and sound. I hope your neighbors appreciated your exquisite taste.
WOW, AMAZING !!!!!!! You guys are Fantastic, nailed it !!! Sabbath Fans are the Best. You guys ROCK
wish i lived near these guys awesome
Great execution including nailing the TONE!
Nice tone on the guitar with this one. Get out there and rock. All best wishes to you. Would be nice to see you four on a larger stage.
Damn, you guys are tight.
Got Dang Boys! Y’all Are Rockin’!
Great job guys from a guitar player from Cleveland Ohio!!
True 2 original... ⭐
Solid work.
Solid Performance Snowdogs!
Ummm.... fuck YES!!! I love the way the wind starts blowing a little toward the end... like they conjured it up.
Whoah that was awesome, what a solid performance! The kid joining in made my day, keep on rocking!
for not practicing performing this tune in advance, that's a truly great rendition. My first concert was Black Sabbath on Halloween 1976 and the openting acts were Boston and Heart. Beyond seeing amazing live performances featuring a ton of great tunes, the tickets were $4.50.
I remember the 4.50 tix. My first concert & I missed it cuz a guy gave me a red!
I’m willing to wager that this combo rehearses regularly, including rehearsing this song. What you think one of the guys said,”hey dudes we have never practiced Sabbath, but let’s play fairies have boots”? 😂
what was min wage in 76 2/hr?
....and you had to walk 10 miles to school and back everyday, and uphill both ways, often in the pouring rain or blizzard while fending off timber wolves and polar bears.
@@josephno1347mmm, might not have even been that much. lol
Bad ass ! Nobody covers that wicked tune ! Sabbath would approve. You gotta believe me
Really good job 👍😎 stay together forget the Ego's,, and enjoy Rock LIFE
This is honest to God the best sabbath cover I’ve ever seen. The sound is great and the parts are pretty true to the record. This seriously rocks.
Sabbath, Hendrix, Crimson, Yes, Floyd, J. Tull... Rules! WOW! Best regards from Belgrade 🔊🎼
All of ya were spot on! You know every one of these guys cruised around in high school in their muscle cars with the sabbath cranked on the 6x9s!
I listened to this in 1970 when I was 8 , haven't turned back , still best music out there , original B.S. WARD , BUTLER , OSBOURNE AND IOMMI IS THE BEST !!!
These backyard party songs are fückin' awesome! Can I have an invite to the next one this summer?!? 😄
