Lmfao..I am a huge Sabbath fan...this was an absolutely amazing cover...drummer killed it guitar , bass you name it vocals were spot on. Salute brother!
I stumbled accross this while searching for videos by a Black Sabbath parody McDonald's based band called Mac Sabbath. I saw Brown Sabbath and thought maybe it was a Black Sabbath tribute band with a black singer. I was completely blown away by what it actually is. This has got to be the best cover of Fairies Wear Boots I've ever heard.
@Jr Reyes, why you asking me? I didn't bring him up. Jr, Ozzie is a white guy that sounds like this black guy with the yellow jacket on and was lead singer of Black Sabbath till 1980 and off and on after that. Blizzard of Oz was Ozzie's first album after leaving sabbath and kicked some ass in 81 and now you hear it at every football game, it's called, I'm going off of the rails on a crazy train, with a little guy named Randy Rhoades playing the lead guitar.
Check out the Morphine songs Free Love, A Good Woman Is Hard To Find and Good Time Last Night (Morphines Mark Sandman in his earlier works). Dana Colley's sax is as heavy as Tony Iommi's SG.
@@dohoeijmans2432 Hold on, Hold on. Now this guy is a good drummer, maybe, great, but Bill Ward fucking ROCKS, AND - ROLLS! He is the first Heavy Metal Jazz drummer and beat a path for bands till now AND into the future. LEGEND.
Wow.....fell down the CZcams rabbit hole and stumbled across these dudes!! At first, I didn't know what to really think about them. The more I listened, the more I liked them. I'm always on the search for new music any ways. Always searching for new metal bands, and "something different"!! Well, I definitely found something different.
That is one of YT few good sides. Down side is I come across tons of way cool stuff (music) that's already is 20 years old. Example, The Hives, Last minister, Jestofunk
So now it's gone full circle. The original "Polka Tulk/Earth" incarnations were jazz-blues bands, and now their material as "Black Sabbath" is being re-interpreted as rockin' swing jazz. Nice!
Dig it too!!! Just wish they had the bass more pronounced ( maybe just audio in clip) Geezers bottom line is a must in Sabbath tunes anyway served. Loved it though awesome !!
OK, first heard FWB by Sabbath almost 45 years ago on my 8-track player, and now fast forward, this cover version, I'm nearly speechless! Great musicians all around and great vocals!!
It's not a reference...Fairies wear boots was released way before For whom the Bell tolls... So it's actually Metallica inspired by Sabbath to compose the intro solo on that song and which resembles "boots" quite a bit.
@@BelleEmoFuss Maybe instead of acting like everyone else is dumb, think about the fact that the times the songs were released has no impact on it being a reference, and that you just commented to feel like you knew something that other people don't.
