The bedsheets all feature BY, along with BY cuddle pillows. There are no other characters to be found, although we may get a Mandalorian helmet here and there. It is borderline ridiculous. Was that the problem? People took issue with Allen not being brought back to voice the character? Because it was a creative decision to not bring him back. He is the voice of the Buzz Lightyear toy. This was the human version that the Buzz action figure was based on. They wanted to separate this movie from the Toy Story world and this human version of Buzz from the toy Buzz in Toy Story.

  • @caryslan5890
    @caryslan5890 Před rokem +5

    You know, I have watched several of these videos and I noticed that TMNT toys are almost never shown and when they are, people seem to be buying them.
    The reason why I bring this up is because TMNT like Marvel and Star Wars was gobbled up by a huge multimedia conglomerate which is Viacom in this case.
    While they have made some missteps with the TMNT franchise(if you wanna call the 2014 and 2016 film missteps), Viacom seems to have gotten good returns on the franchise.
    For example, many recent Marvel games over the past few years have been huge flops while Shredder's Revenge sold a million copies in a week.
    My point to all this is how TMNT and Disney's franchises have been treated in recent years.
    The Turtles aren't being gender swapped, popular legacy characters aren't getting pushed to the side in favor of less popular newcomers, political ideology is not being shoved down our throats.
    While with Disney the polar opposite is happening and it's turning off their fans who aren't buying merchandise based on IPs that are going out of their way to turn off the fan base.
    Disney bought some of the most popular franchises on Earth and due to a combination of bad decisions have somehow turned franchises that print money into stuff that people don't want if it's free.
    Maybe this is a lesson to be learned.

    I bought some vintage style Star Wars figures recently, (only a stormtrooper, vader and luke, the ones that come in a wax paper) as decorations next to my TV, and whats funny is that the only figures people are buying are the classic characters. My local Walmart was almost sold out of the vintage style Darth Vader and Luke figures, fully sold out of Anankin, Leia and Maul figures and the only ones that were available in literal HOARDS were Grogu, the mandolorian, generic black vader lady etc I mean basically every Disney star wars figure was untouched.
    It just goes to show that the fan base has never left the original 6 movies and that Disney royally fucked up the series and added nothing the fan base wants.
