Hardware Store Cashier Arrested for Felony Theft [Little Rock, Arkansas]

- Kallie Lewis has a lot more experience with the criminal justice system than you might assume from this video. Nearly all of it, however, stems from a methamphetamine charge she picked up years ago. In that case she was sentenced to probation... only to be found a while later in Arizona, where she had been arrested. Lewis then failed to show up to a number of mandatory court appearances and also failed to comply with the conditions of her probation, skipping meetings with her probation officer and testing positive for methamphetamine while eight months pregnant. Addiction is not pretty.
In her latest arrest - shown in this video - Lewis was collared for felony theft from her then-employer. The State of Arkansas alleges that Lewis conspired with codefendant Nicholas Preston to steal more than $1,000 in goods from the hardware store where Lewis was employed as a cashier.
The case against Lewis and Preston is ongoing.

A Michigan cop would have told her that the purse goes to the jail with her, will be searched and any drugs/contraband the cops find will add to her charges. However, our cops get off on sending chicks like the one in this clip to prison.
They searched her purse and didn't find any drugs.
They searched the bag, but not the purse that was in it. And they didn't use gloves either - forensics, such a basic thing, yet I see so many US cops on CZcams seemingly oblivious to it, contaminating everything they touch.

@@skeetrix5577 speaking of pizza jobs. I was a manager a few years ago at a large local pizza chain and the gm whenever he would close, would go back through the orders of customers that paid cash and change the orders of certain higher priced pizzas to a single topping one and collect the difference. For example a large Supreme is 17.99 and a large one topping is 9.99. 8 dollars difference. He'd change the pizza on several orders and instead of the register thinking there was 4000 cash to be expected, it would only be 3800. He would pocket the 200 difference for example.

never steal from big chains, there keeping a case on u till u hit 1000 for a felony
@@n3wt Just never steal is better. The price we pay, as customers, goes up when people steal. Annual losses, from shoplifting, is added to the sales projections for the following financial year. Therefore, we pay when staff or customers steal.
@@n3wt Thats not how that works. For starters they don’t combine everything. Those are separate crimes each being misdemeanor theft. Secondly, the $1000 mark is just the state laws definition of grand theft. It could be a few hundred in another state. No, big box stores aren’t keeping a record and they’re insured for theft anyway.
"I would rather you save that for the detective because that is a statement and that's a violation of your rights" how amazingly said and put forward, these guys are real professionals and I really respect that blunt honesty! I like that these cops despite the crime and what is going on, kept professional, talked to the suspect with respect, treated her like an adult. Explained to her bluntly what is going on and how. Kept her rights and told her he is not allowing her to speak on the subject to protect her rights. Even searching through her stuff kept it simple, not over bearing and kept her dignity. Everyone has the right to be respected, innocent until proven guilty and have their day to be heard by a court.
This video should be shown to all law enforcement officers to show how to respect both suspects and victims.
That's actually not technically accurate; but you and the cops are not lawyers, I am 😉
The officer and suspect may talk ALL they want, NO violation.
The ISSUE here is that the Prosecutors and OAG want to *Preserve* Evidence AGAINST the suspect. That is the reason all agencies have a Policy to read Mirando (I'm surprised they don't have the officer read her rights right there (many do) so the collection of evidence against her begins.)
But obviously, evidence collected by *detectives* is standard procedure, back in the controlled environment of the office.
The POLICY to read Miranda is in place because if Miranda is Not read, the prosecutors could Lose good evidence they want to use Against her. 🙏🏾

I worked for a cable company back in1985
that used to put cash on Friday into the safe till deposit on Monday. The money went missing. The company blamed and fired the entire weekend cleaning crew. But i said it had to be the weekend manager who had one of 2 keys to the safe and had a serious coke habit since he had tried to sell to me but i refused. They kept the night manager and harassed me for accusing him of stealing. I was treated like crap. Three months later, he stole again from the safe another 15K. They did not prosecute him but paid for his rehab. Turned out he was the drug supplier for the younger brother of the owner of the cable company. The company never apologized to me but found me new employment with an entirely new partner company because management did not trust me not to snitch about things. Mad, mad props to Northern Tool and Equipment, that was literally my first job ever. They took a chance on me and I gave them 5 years of faithful service. Went on to join the Navy, did 7 years, my Mom passed and I said "ok I'm good now, back to family", got out honorably, started college and finished, just got my degree on Mother's day. Now I'm working on starting my business in videogame design. Thank you Norther Tool, you took a chance on me and I'm going to show that trust wasn't misplaced. 🤘😎
Right On
Great story 💪🏽 never settle
Not that it matters but I'm so very proud of you for getting yourself to such a great point in life and without excuses. I'd have to say that even though your mom's not here she's been watching over you and not only did you give yourself but you also gave your mom a great gift on Mother's Day. I hope you never stop doing great things in life! Bless You!
great work bro. happy for you. I'm 32 still have my mother. couldn't imagine losing her. sorry for your loss.
That's amazing! Thank you for your service & I hope you have a lot of success!
These tim phillips jokes are epic bro
Great investigation. Very professional.
It’s now 2023, and Tim is still telling his employees about his heroism that day.
That’s the apex of his career, and he’ll never shut up about it. Definitely true.
His poor grandkids
@@KrystalLioness: They... what? "His poor grandkids..." what? And how do you figure he's certainly a grandpa?
@@HelloKittyFanMan I think they were just trying to make a joke my guy calm down. Like, his poor grandkids have to listen to this story every family dinner haha funny. Not that deep.
@@rhemorse: 1. I wasn't _uncalm._ So oops, _you_ need to calm down. 2. I never said it was "deep." Just because someone asks what another person would say when they finished doesn't mean the asker thought it was "deep," duh. 3. I simply asked her _what_ because she didn't finish her idea. 4. You don't even need to worry about it, since you weren't the person I asked. So why do you even care?
Not nearly enough "seargent, seargent, seargent listen to me, seargent, seargent, just talk to me. Seargent!"
guitaristxcore Jeremy Dewitt woulda tackled her
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Lol
Bring down officer ogletree or someone that out ranks you like a luitenant
Guy's... she was only impersonating a felon.
💀
Crime aside, the bathroom signs are SO cute! Lol
What do they show? I'm blind so can only listen to the videos.
This is prolly my favorite one of these so far just a video of a bunch of cool dudes
She knew exactly wtf she was doing, keeping it under a grand and doing two separate days
She just got lucky it was under a grand
Yup, spot on!
if she knew she was doing she would of not got caught in a such a short span. Most criminals that do inside jobs like this would do this over time and it would be months or even years before getting caught. She got caught of 2 days of doing this. She just got lucky not skilled. By the way I do not encourage any kind of crime but I read a lot of articles and read a lot of books and masterminds can do crimes for a long period of times before getting caught. Now he is a youtuber telling his stories from his past before going to prison and stories of him when he was serving time.
There is a youtuber that use to be one of the biggest jewel thieves going around robbing jewelry stores and such both over night type heist and actual armed robbery type stuff, hear his stories and reading about the guy is very fascinating stuff. Not because I admire him or anything. I find it interesting how someone that has that much smarts and wit, able to pull off so much and used those skills for such bad things.
I think to myself if a guy like that would take those skills and use them for good and many more mastermind criminals did the same just use those skills for good, we would be in a better place.
No, there were more items…they just couldn’t identify them
In the cart..
I'm sure with sales tax added on, it was at least a grand.
She doesn't want to purse because if she goes into jail with that purse they'll do a complete search of the purse and find her meth pipe.
Yes im thinking so too...... Very sad what drugs can do
Exactly what I thought, I’m suprised the cop didn’t pick up on it and do a thorough search
So true
@@samuelgaldieri8212 they absolutely knew, they did a quick search for weapons and will let the precinct search it throughly.
She's definitely not on meth lol.. she'd be wired.. She's definitely on a downer, just by the ways she's talking n her demeanor, she's on heroin.
If I was the store manager I would have rounded up all the items paid for and stolen and put them on a cart, ring it up on the register. Print out and void. None of this well it's about this much and it was this and that. Just give them the voided receipt. I would have also brought all the stuff on the cart into the office and THEN called her in. Record the expressions on her face when she sees all the same stuff they took. She may have thought that he brought it back and confessed. She might be more inclined to spill the beans.
Why do people say things like “No I’m not charged” or “No I’m not under arrest”? Do they honestly think the cops will say, “Oh you’re not? Sorry my bad, you’re free to go!” Fools
" skipping meetings with her probation officer and testing positive for methamphetamine while eight months pregnant. " Oh.
yeah apparently its the new grunge
Holy shit 😂😂😂
She definitely had something in her purse. No normal person would just offer to leave a purse outside a store for no reason
Yep, and the police didn’t find it.
meth
That's methed up
@@torrynzee8990 And she was high already
Nah she seems like a sidewalk yoga instructor
Thanks for sharing your experience with us officer
Wholesome manager. I like Tim. Hes probably the neighbor most likely to keep watch over your house while you're on vacation, and mow your lawn for you when you're sick with the flu.
My money says the crank was in her purse.
Anti - Ethnic Cleansing they missed the wallet he didn’t even unzip it
Anti - Ethnic Cleansing they did an open search for weapons, it’s wasn’t a thorough search the cops did on camera, FoR fUcKs SaKe
Biovet it’s ok they’ll find it in the station and it’ll be another automatic felony
Benjamin Zavala you’re not wrong
@@roberth4727 thorough?
The officer's head drop at the police car when she mentions her 18 month old.......just heartbreaking.
World's greatest mom!
Shouldn't have done the crime then huh
A good time for her to ponder several things.. Stop breaking the law, get sober, lose your current boyfriend and start using birth control.
That officer was such a professional young man. We need many more officers like him. Compassionate, professional, polite. Nothing like the jersey cops
One more kid for CPS to send to foster homes. What a shame that the kid's mother was a drug addict.
The black employee getting to the bag while the thief is on drugs stealing from work like a crackhead 🤷🏽♂️
The cure for all thief’s. The walk of shame cures a lot if they have any dignity
