I learned how to tie them for the top of my Christmas tree many years ago because I got tired of paying the florist ten dollars just to tie my bow. I understand about not being able to hold the center tight. I have seen where some ladies use a chip clip or clothes pin to hold the center. I bought another butterfly to hang outside. Dollar Tree really has some beautiful things this Spring.
I like the technique used with the mesh. I have everything to make this wreath and I will make it with Easter in mind. Yours is very pretty. I would have liked to see how you covered the back.

I think any Spring colors together will work well. It sounds like you are ready to make a beautiful swag. I am one who likes to do unexpected colors and textures. I think if you keep you base (cooling rack) in the blue tones; then add maybe a bow using the pink and purple together would look great. Also, yellow and purple flowers mixed together would look pretty with the deco mesh colors you listed. Thank you dear. I hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that the butterfly comes in two colors. They also have a green hummingbird that is cute.
