Wonderful Wreaths: Dollar Tree Cooling Rack Cross Wreath

- Hey y'all! In this video, I'm going to show you how to make a Dollar Tree cooling rack cross wreath, using the cruffle method.
For this cross, I chose the colors purple and white. Biblically, purple represents royalty and kingship. In those days, only the rich could afford things dyed a purple color, as the dye came from the gland of a small Mediterranean sea snail. Purple is also made by combining red and blue, the red representing the physical aspects of Jesus, and blue representing Him after He entered his heavenly home. The white represents purity.

Its the first part of January and you can't find the metal Cross forms anywhere unless you buy them in bulk! ( I will never use 24 Cross forms!)

I cannot believe how talented you are! I plan to make one of these for my nephew's grave. He passed away on 10/17 and I can use this method for every holiday. There are a lot of jealous people out there, and the only satisfaction they can get out of life is to click the little thumbs down button. Makes me happy to know that I’m in their thoughts that much.

It’s ridiculous that there are so many miserable people out there that the only happiness they get is to try to bring you that same misery. I grew up with the old adage that if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. I also grew up in a family that were God fearing people and we were taught that you never judge a person because that’s not your job. I think the same goes with this thumb. If you don’t like the style, move on- case closed. Perhaps the thumbs down should be removed altogether but then I fear that these naysayers will spew their vile comments. I guess we should go with that other old adage Amber- you can’t please all of the people all of the time. You have the right idea girl! They think so much of you that they have to give you some attention even if it’s negative!

I'm just wondering how much mesh I would need if I used 10 inch mesh for the cruffle method. How long would you cut the cruffles on 10 inch? How much mesh would it take if I use 10yd rolls? &If you're using the pouf/bubble method with 10 or 21 inch, do you happen to know how much mesh I'd need?

I love your "cruffle". I was just thinking of putting up a white cross with an artistically draped white sheet on it. Then I remembered I have black neighbors and thought maybe they wouldn't appreciate a white sheet and a cross on the front lawn in quite the same way.
