Love the swag. I like them better than wreaths. A swag allows me to see out my storm door and a wreath blocks the view and the birds don't make nests in a swag.
I think this idea will be good for our front door. We get direct full sun all day, so I think anything made with hot glue would break down. But zip-ties?? I can raid my husband’s stash tomorrow! Haha!
