Did she really? Does that fact have a source? Because Susan's personality is not Ravenclaw at all. Ravenclaws are curious, open-minded and creative. Susan's much more of a Hermione, who was, in Rowling's own words, the "anti-luna"; who was in turn, also in her own words, "the truest Ravenclaw".
That's BS. Even though JKR loves Narnia, none of the HP characters are based off Narnia - the traits of the siblings don't match those of the founders (Lucy the brave as a Hufflepuff and not as a Gryffindor?). People make that assumption because it would give a before to the HP, but they are very distinct franchises with not links to each other.
Peter, the eldest sibling and leader of the Pevensies, captured all the chivalry, bravery and cockiness of Godric Gryffindor. Meanwhile, the kind and loyal Lucy was very much the Helga Hufflepuff of the group, while Susan's bookish mindset and desire for knowledge made her the ideal Rowena Ravenclaw. Finally, Edmund, the child who initially sold his siblings out for candy, was also the most brutal in battle, and his mischievous nature made him an ideal Salazar Slytherin. But what truly tied these two groups together was that even their royal colors matched, and Peter even carried a shield with the Lion Aslan on it -- the same animal that acts as Gryffindor's mascot. As of now, J.K. Rowling has never stated that the founders of Hogwarts were directly inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia. That said, Rowling has said that those books were a huge influence growing up. As a result, it's most likely that these four founders were meant as loose nods to the children of Lewis' books. This was also best shown by the personalities of each child, who, at their core, shared similarities to the founders of Hogwarts. (a news article)
Same😢😢I watched Narnia in my childhood but then became a harrypotterfan. When I saw the four founders of Hogwarts video, my heart dropped. I saw the truth when I showed it to my mother she said I was right, and now I can't unsee it my childhood 😢❤
Maybe a film called "The founders" in which there is the story of how Hogwarts was founded. As actors i think Katie Mcgrath as Rowena ( is the sosia of the Rowena in the video) For the others i don't really know.
J.K Rowling got the inspiration for the founders of hogwards from the Pevensie siblings: Lucy:helga hufflepuff Peter:godric griffindor Edmund:Salazar slytherin Susan:Rowena ravenclaw
This is BS. Even though JKR loves Narnia, none of the HP characters are based off that story - the traits of the siblings don't match those of the Hogwarts' founders (Lucy the Brave as a Hufflepuff and not as a Gryffindor?, c'mon!). People make that assumption because it would give a before, sort of prequel, to the HP story, but they are very distinct franchises with no links to each other.
Your statement would be great if Rowling hand not stated otherwise she said she was highly inspired by Narnia, which makes since, seeing as that it would have been the Harry Potter of her childhood just as Lord of The Rings was the Game of Thrones thus it inspired George R R Martin....
Using artwork that happens to resemble pictures from Disney performers doesn't actually prove anything. The four Pevensie kids, and if I remember correctly their adult versions, had their physical descriptions in the books. I don't remember the four founders being physically described at all. That's like saying A Scanner Darkly is part of the MCU because younger versions of the actors are in the same movies.
The video is referring to where J.K. Rowling got the inspiration for the founders from. The series are not related. Its not confirmed but is known that J.K. Rowling was influenced by Narnia.
Fun fact J.K Rolling actuly based the founders of Hogwards off of them
I knew this, I just didn’t know they looked exactly the same. This was pretty awesome when I first noticed how alike they were lol

Idk how when Harry potter came in 2001 and Narnia in 2008.

Why does Slytherin look like Rumpelstiltskin from once upon a time
i realized this too omg
Omg 😮so true
That was my same exact thought! I was like "is that Mr. Gold?"
He does as well
Fr
The sword peter have had a written text that was "Gryffindor"
It didn't. Seeing as griffindor wasn't a thing when The Narnia Books came out... it was called Rhindon, and the text was poem about aslan
Everything from Harry Potter turns back to❤Narnia❤.
That slap felt personal
Why does this make perfect sense?!?!
That's who they were based off
I am a huge HP fan and I've seen Narnia a million times but I never realized that! Wow, just wow!
Same😢😢I watched Narnia in my childhood but then became a harrypotterfan. When I saw the four founders of Hogwarts video, my heart dropped. I saw the truth when I showed it to my mother she said I was right, and now I can't unsee it my childhood 😢❤
This is canon in my head
Ohh and knowing characteristics and stories of Pevensies, it matches even better!
The one on the left of Susan looks exactly like Morgana from Merlin
Exactly what I thought
I thought so too
Thank youuu
I saw a video that jk rolling took ideas from Nania but I never knew it was this inspirational that the 2 stories can be connected together.
Telling me kids in world war 2 become the founders of hogwarts
If they actually lived because remember 3 of them died in the most fucked up part of the books and 1 stayed behind on earth grieve
@@nmoney6655Shhhh...🤫🤫🤫 I'm still denying that part 😢
They all deserved so much better
Those are the people who were in our Narnia and they are the founders of Hogwarts
Jk Rolling "borrowed" a lot
she said she took inspiration from the books
Omfg the similarity 😨
♥️💚💙💛
Salazar Slytherin look like Rumblestilskin
Salazar Slytherin looks like Rumple from OUAT. Rowena Ravenclaw looks like Katie McGrath. 😂😂😂
I love both movies!!🫶🏼
Rowena is made after Katie McGrath’s face 💜
That’s what I was thinking, why is Lena Luthor there??
Maybe a film called "The founders" in which there is the story of how Hogwarts was founded. As actors i think Katie Mcgrath as Rowena ( is the sosia of the Rowena in the video)
For the others i don't really know.
Yeah I also made that connection
IT TOTALLY FITS❤❤❤
That actually looks like facts
Salazar slytherin looks like Mr gold from once upon a time not gonna lie
We watched the movie and I was like yeah they do
Even like the outfits though... Andrew Adamson I need explanations!
Peter Gryffindor ❤️
Lucy Hufflepuff 💛
Susan Ravenclaw 💙
Edmund Slytherin 💚
Pevensie is similar to Peverell😮
J.K Rowling got the inspiration for the founders of hogwards from the Pevensie siblings:
Lucy:helga hufflepuff
Peter:godric griffindor
Edmund:Salazar slytherin
Susan:Rowena ravenclaw
That would mean I've related to one of the kings of narnia I'm the hari of slytherin
I WAS TELLING THIS TO MY MOM 🎉🎉🎉
Look at their clothes and resembles
How nice
Why does Griffindor look like Jesus 🤣
Yep because they are
THAT IS THEM GUYS
Ma ma sono uguali 🤩😨
why does godric gryffindor look like jesus
We were right bitches
Rowena looks like Morgana
They are actually the same people
the siblings look identical and J.K Rowling based them off of them but they might be
What!?!!!?!!!! Mind litterely blown!!!!
It’s the EU
Edmund looks more like the ex of malificent
Yes😊
Edmund is definitely not salazar
Oooooohhhh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-

True
Hogwarts has four founders
They are the same
