i watched whole 4 seasons of the show in a week or so.
i hated lagertha in the beggining. because i remembered the actress from bones where she played booth's girlfriend. i didn't liked rollo in first eps, because he raped this poor girl.
but it didn't mattered i didn't like both of them. i liked their chemistry. and i knew since the begining there is a story. there is something between them.
he would do everything for her.
and all he wanted to do is to be recognize. he was never the first one. he wanted to be the same as his brother. he wanted to be someone. he wanted fame. he wanted to have his brother life. he wanted her. he wanted lagertha. so i might be angry about the whole paris part. he wanted to fullfill his destiny, his fate that he lost his loyalty. and he did something. he is someone. he is important.
i love his relationship with bjorn. and i love the idea that rollo is his father. it makes sense for me and it shows that rollo and lagertha they did have a story.
rollo is amazing character. he makes mistakes and he do some bad things but the only reason is that he wants to be famous warrior. he wants to be a legend.
and she is amazing. she is so strong. and to be honest... ragnar doesn't deserve her. i don't think rollo would ever cheat on her.
and i believe lagertha was his one true love.
i just wished he was hers.
about the future. i really hope lagertha will go with bjorn and rollo to spain. i hope she will join them. and as stupid as it sounds i still have hope they will end up together.
about siggy. i liked siggy and rollo together. i really did. but lagertha was the one and even siggy knew that.

I feel bad for Rollo and Ragnar didn’t deserve Lagatha but I feel like she ended up with the Priest so quickly bc they respected each other and belonged together, he treated her better than anyone before him and that’s why it was fitting.
Ragnar was in love with lagertha and he will always love her that's way he said that his happiest moments happened when he was in the farm, he didn't have all that mess that now he has to carry around because he choose to bring aslaug to his home. It was a bad decision but it was just how things came out to be ....

You've shown the bad parts of his character in the past and how he's changed/trying to change and she just seems so badass and amazing as well, this is so wonderful and I was just engrossed the whole way through

amazing video! i love Lagertha since the first season. i love that she is so strong and badass. and i have to agree that ragnar don´t deserve her! i hated the whole storyline with Aslaug. i just can´t stand Aslaug at all. and ragnar is an idiot to cheat on a woman like Lagertha. he had everything. a great life. a wife and a son. but he wanted more. and now he got what he deserve. anyway Lagertha is my fave character from the show and i can´t wait to see more of her journey.

Remember wen Ragnar was telling Bjorn how he meet his mother and the he had to fight the beat and the dog or wolf for her.....I think that Rollo was the bear and before lagertha choosed Ragnar she was pregnant from rollo with bjorn, which wen she says you have been protecting him all his life as if he was ur own son etc....also Bjorn and rollo are the same height, bigger compared with Ragnar. .....anyone agree?

Why does she say “ you have looked after him...almost as if he was your OWN son. As if they are hinting or playing with us with the idea that Bjorn could be Rollo’s son. Possibly the two of them had some kind of tryst? Perhaps before she became engaged to Ragnar?
I don’t believe it but the way she said that certainly stands out and a lot goes unsaid...like Rollo said “let’s leave it at that” that exchange is open to all kinds of interpretation. Personally I don’t believe it, or that Lagertha was ever disloyal to Ragnar even before mattaige...if anything she was too loyal. Going to battle with him several times after what he did to her. And don’t get me started about how instead of standing up for her with Kalf he went to him to strike a deal for himself. Yeah Ragnar could be a real ass sometimes, esp where Lagertha s concerned. Think his ego started to get the best of him towards the end. Only after a dose of humility did he apologize and some would say, profess his love for Lagertha. By telling her he wished he’d never left their little farm and thus would have lived out a simple but loving relationship. Also he admitted to Auslug their marriage was never about love but about their kids. Anyway so though he could be a complete shit at times he at least made his apologies and asked Lagertha for forgiveness.
Anyways I’ve gone on a bit here but what do you guys make to what and how she said that statement to Rollo?
Susanne Collins I think Rollo and Lagertha have some past together. Maybe Rollo was first and Ragnar was later? But I think Bjorn is Rollo's son. Lagertha literally told him that. And maybe she was unfaithful to him at the beginning. And maybe the fact that after all Lagertha picked Ragnar not Rollo made him this jealous and vindictive brother. Thats my opinion. But we can only wonder about it.
xladyxmacbethx yes...we can only guess because Lagertha has never mentioned Rollo and any kind of relationship between them during the show that I can recall. We’ve heard plenty of his feelings for her. But what she said to him about Bjorn is hard to interpret any other way. Still wouldn’t the writers dropped some other hints on what would be such a big plot point? Idk, don’t know what to think but what she said and how she said it...what else could that mean?
I think Bjorn is Rollo's son. When Bjorn was young, Ragnar was explaining how he and Lagertha got together. He told story about being set upon by a bear, and Bjorn responded in a way that hints he knows it represents Rollo. When talking with Seer, Rollo confessed that Ragnar was always chosen over him, by their father, their mother and by Lagertha. It seems pretty certain to me, that they have actually been together, before Ragnar engagement, hence he mentioned the bear. I think neither Lagertha nor Rollo knows whose son Bjorn is, but the fact Rollo asked Ivar to spare Bjorn's life makes me think, that Rollo believes Bjorn is his.

Because when Ragnar died Odin came to inform him and all the other Ragnar's sons. If he wasn't his son for real then the gods won't have come instead of him being so far in Spain away from his homeland.
Rollo loves and take care of Bjorn because he's like him. That's why he care so much. 😢🤔

I loved this. I love Lagertha, always have since her first time on screen. And I've disliked Rollo more and more. I get him, I get why he does what he does, but that doesn't excuse him. He is willing to lust after his brother's woman, and that is the first thing he does wrong of many. Of course he wants Lagertha, how could he not have you met her? But he had too many demons which he didn't try to fight. He fed his demons again and again, growing ever darker and less and less worthy of her.
