@@lorddarlo6194i believe this was the Audi that was trying to flee the police in the UK and had out run their helicopter for a few minutes but I could be wrong. It’s the same colour and model of Audi

That was an Audi RS5 mate, but you’re not far off.
At the time the guy outran a police helicopter in the stolen RS5 which was only 1 of 2 in the UK.
Only got caught cos he turned around and tried to ditch them going th other way if I recall correctly

@@Pjanoo1 i have the capacity to love both....jack id more vocal now that Alex isnt there but that doesnt mean it was a bad thing before...Ethan was basically the camera guy/producer that grew into something else.... its all awesome
I love it, Edwin is a fantastic addition to this channel and I Taylor and Alex work together really well over on their channel, it's the best of both worlds and twice the content to watch 👍
I think this was the development mule for the V10 S/RS6's- and all of the mysterious white powder is what was left after they decided to produce V10 saloon cars.

@@MrKruska11 just been reading about it actually. Based on the 4.2 V8 rather than being "pinched" from Lamborghini. They shared bits but are apparently 2 different engines. So I guess there may be some differences like firing orders to account for the sound.
They sound like a V8 a lot... its running on all cylinders, i had mine run on 8 Cylinders and it sounded completely different to this.

A flat 6 Subaru legacy 3.0r spec b man is such a good sounding car . In my opinion one of the best sounding 6 cylinders. Just type Subaru flat 6 supercharger sound. But that V10 is marvelous

The Audi S6 went from an NA V10 to a 6zylinder TDI in less than 15 years.
Let's be honest, in terms of ease to live with, cost and tuning ability it has improved
S6 never went tdi A6 did but S6 always been petrol

I've had a few S6s. I bought a V10 new in 2006 and still have it. I've also had the C7 S6 and now drive the diesel C8 S6. The point of the S6 is effortlessly fast and comfortable rather than sporty or handling focused. While the old V10 is an excellent engine, it costs a savage amount to run. Mine has been reliable but maintenance to 130k miles so far has been eye watering. It will easily drop a £2k bill for the smallest of things. Big cost is parts availability and labour having to remove the engine. My engine has been out many times for small auxiliary parts. Overall, while the V10 will take your heart, the current diesel S6 is the best all round S6 yet. I can cross the continent on a single tank. The V10 has you stopping every other hour if you're giving it some. By all means get one if you really want, but be well aware of the costs to run one properly. Mine has been very reliable but typical older car things cost 10x more. Starter motor etc are all engine out.
A VW VR5/ VR6 was a good option too. Especially the VR5 without the muffler. Its nuts.
This is YT gold. V10, non existent maintenance. What could go wrong?

Where’s the vr5 engine?!? Literally one of the most unique exhaust notes ever invented.
Completely designed and built from the ground up, with 5 cylinders sharing a single head in V formation. Alternating size and shape inlet and outlet ports to create a sound unheard from any other engine in the world.
Much like pawadan, Ethan has become powerful with his car knowledge. I am so proud of him.

Good shot fellas. But I am always astonished how you guys are always able to mis the really best sounding car. Get yourself a Passat 3BG 4.0 W8! Those things sound like a VR6 on steroids. I am pretty sure you can pick up a high milage one well under your budget. Cheers.
