This was slightly better than Dan Patrick's Q&Uhhh but this young man needs to have someone help him on his interviewing skills.
He is so modest and doesn't like talking about himself
He has only had a few months in front of the mic because he was backing up Baker. There have been some interviewers like Dan Patrick who only wanted to see if they could break him and get him to say which pro sport he will play. Patrick has interviewed him before and should have known Kyler would not give him a scoop. Kyler has had some good interviews where the interviewer gets the "which sport will you play?" out of the way and then settles in.The other thing is that he has been raised to avoid public controversy. The qbs his dad have coached take care of business, keep a low profile on social media, and make their play speak for itself. This time last year, Kyler did not have a prayer as far as pro football is concerned because he had little playing time. He was impressive this past year and both of his teams made post season play. I have been amazed by the kid's schedule. Wish him the best and hope he makes the decision he wants--not what others want him to do.
They know he's not going to answer those question but they ask anyway.....For grown men to do that is just plain stupid
They're asking stupid questions.
@@mkhanman12345 No, the questions were perfectly fine.
Dude won like 45 games in a row in High School, 3 consecutive 6A Texas state titles, an above average senior season at OU and a Heisman Trophy. Man who gives a f *** how he interviews? They said the same crap about Jared Goff and he was in the damn Super bowl a few months ago. Let Kyler be Kyler. See how he does on the football field before trying to judge the kid.
"YOU'RE FUNNY" ........Perfect
he is camera shy and I like him for that
Yeah. He reminds me a lot of myself. Except he's more confident. Lol
Dudes going to be the shortest QB in the league.
He’s 5’8 with cleats on standing up straight with a Helmet.
yikes
this may be one of the awkwardest interviews of all time
No it's not.. It's just pretty chill.
It’s so cool how we have all these nfl scouts in the comment section
Kyler keeps his cards close, his personality is opposite Baker. He's a competitor to the core and I'll be surprised if he isn't drafted as he's an incredible athlete...
Kyler is modest
Ha!! Hahahahahaha
He might end up being the next nfl superstar but I would not pick this kid
I kinda feel a little sorry for kyler (in a weird way) he has an incredibly hard decision to make and which ever way he goes he could have a great career in either sport or not.
he picks football 100%. this kind of publicity he wont get in MLB.
Yeah poor fucking him lol
I don't see the "leader" in him. Usually QBs exude this energy at the QB position. The closest NFL QB comp I can think of (and I think its dead on the money) for his personality is Eli Manning. He's oozes the Eli Manning: "I'm chill 24/7 and I'm going to speak to you in a sweet/low tone voice". Kyler Murray to the NY Giants, confirmed? :-P
I'm almost 100% certain Kyler has already decided in his mind to play baseball, since that explains why he's drawing out his decision process. Not publicly saying he choose baseball is just him using the NFL as leverage to get more money out of the Oakland As. Also his agent is baseball's top agent Scott Boras.
If Kyler had picked NFL, it would make the most sense to publicly say he is committed to football, since NFL teams want to know for sure he's going to play football before spending a high draft pick on him. Sorry NFL fans, but no Kyler Murray for us
Randy Randalman welp he’s going to the Combine
@@deedinero6440 Going to the combine really isn't a huge commitment. But after thinking about it some more, I think it's possible that Kyler is waiting to see which side will pay him more before making his decision. He already knows how much Oakland As are offering him, but there is more uncertainty around how much he would make in the NFL, which is completely determined by his draft position. The combine could be a way for Kyler to get a better sense of how high NFL teams are willing to take him. As long as Kyler goes in the top 12, he should make just as much if not more than what the As are offering him.
Welp hes all in now
Ha
All that to be wrong
people here are quick to judge based on this interview & for me, his body language & demeanor looks odd. I was sure that college preps you for that but it's way to soon to come to any conclusion
Asks what he was told.
He tells him what he was told.
The guy also said something about a bat at some time.
Is that what he told you? The bat?
Kyler…. This interview is no good.
If I answer ur question but then u tell me oh I want a different answer, you try to get a different answer out of me. I would feel like you didn’t actually care about what I had to say, so then I would not care either.
I truly love ur show, no hate in this comment. It’s because the first question u wanted a different answer. Awkward from the start. I still liked the video🤷♂️.
Pickup the bat he ain ready
I'm sure you hear that phrase a lot in the bedroom.
People who don’t know football be like
Not the most exciting guy in the room...
This kid need to read more books to learn how to articulate what he is thinking into words
Man has skill but he seems kind of arrogant.
"How often were you in contact with Baker"??....lmfaooo .....I wouldnt talk to this guy either, SUPER AWKWARD
First off I would not draft this guy if I was an NFL team.....but.... this guy is treating this decision like its the most important choice in the history of mankind, like its not that big of a deal, what sport are you gonna play dude?..... oh cool Kyler....on with life lol smh
It is the most important decision in his young life. Very, very few get to make a choice between pro football or pro baseball. In the only season he was starter at OU he ends up 9th in MLB draft, Heisman winner and potential early round draftee in NFL draft. Eisen knows Kyler has to report to the A's Feb. 15.
Obviously it's not important to you but at the time this was the biggest decision of his life.
@@ericrodriguezz215 I dont think its a "big" decision, rather a decision that needs to have thought put into it and made. Big decisions are made during war, REAL life issues, and so on
@@Daniel-hs6ct I get your logic, but if you were 19-20 years old and had a decision to play in the MLB or NFL and constantly had microphones in your face asking you the same question it would get redundant and I personally would probably get sick of it really fast. He's giving up 13 million from the A's to enter the draft and if he's not picked in the top 10, there's a big drop off in $$.
This is some bull$hit, he has no clue what kind of leader can he really be???? Stick with baseball and fade away in the background homie. You don't love football you're just an athlete. It's all good but your passion is in question and the powers that be are watching and more importantly reading your non-verbal/body language.
Yeah, State championship, Heisman trophy, close to a national championship, definitely doesn't have any passion for the sport, what kind of trophies do you have for comment section quarterbacking?
Adonis Black Alright genius would you draft him????? Don’t think to hard......
You're not as bright nor insightful as you believe yourself to be, narcissistic blow hard
@@edeguzman89 No, he's not a leader. He's folding under this type of pressure. How is he gonna lead a team of grown ass men when he's too scared & confused when simply speaking to Dan Patrick & Rich Eisen? He doesn't know everyone he's met, he doesn't know this, he doesn't know that. Dan Patrick was looking to his dad and his asking his dad questions and Kyler just sat in a shell like a child. Will his dad be there in the locker room to lead the team? Is he gonna be on the field to lead the team? You a man or a boy? IDK what sport he loves the most, IDK what kind of person he is, IDK anything about him other than these interviews. IDC how much talent a peson has, if you can't take control and lead a team... I'd rather take a trash player who has leadership skills and can handle the heat. Then we can at least build up his game and possibly turn him into a star. You're not gonna be able to turn this kid into a leader and the face of a franchise.
@@JackCarterDOA lol
If he interviews like that with gm's and scouts he'll be undrafted free agent. Go play baseball and stay away from football.
Says the 49ers fan.. Watch him probably choose football, get drafted, and beat that sucky ass team next season. 😂
