    This was slightly better than Dan Patrick's Q&Uhhh but this young man needs to have someone help him on his interviewing skills.

      He has only had a few months in front of the mic because he was backing up Baker. There have been some interviewers like Dan Patrick who only wanted to see if they could break him and get him to say which pro sport he will play. Patrick has interviewed him before and should have known Kyler would not give him a scoop. Kyler has had some good interviews where the interviewer gets the "which sport will you play?" out of the way and then settles in.The other thing is that he has been raised to avoid public controversy. The qbs his dad have coached take care of business, keep a low profile on social media, and make their play speak for itself. This time last year, Kyler did not have a prayer as far as pro football is concerned because he had little playing time. He was impressive this past year and both of his teams made post season play. I have been amazed by the kid's schedule. Wish him the best and hope he makes the decision he wants--not what others want him to do.

They said the same crap about Jared Goff and he was in the damn Super bowl a few months ago. Let Kyler be Kyler. See how he does on the football field before trying to judge the kid.

    I don't see the "leader" in him. Usually QBs exude this energy at the QB position. The closest NFL QB comp I can think of (and I think its dead on the money) for his personality is Eli Manning. He's oozes the Eli Manning: "I'm chill 24/7 and I'm going to speak to you in a sweet/low tone voice". Kyler Murray to the NY Giants, confirmed? :-P

  • @randyrandalman8234
    @randyrandalman8234 Před 5 lety +2

    I'm almost 100% certain Kyler has already decided in his mind to play baseball, since that explains why he's drawing out his decision process. Not publicly saying he choose baseball is just him using the NFL as leverage to get more money out of the Oakland As. Also his agent is baseball's top agent Scott Boras.
    If Kyler had picked NFL, it would make the most sense to publicly say he is committed to football, since NFL teams want to know for sure he's going to play football before spending a high draft pick on him. Sorry NFL fans, but no Kyler Murray for us

    • @randyrandalman8234
      @randyrandalman8234 Před 5 lety +1

      @@deedinero6440 Going to the combine really isn't a huge commitment. But after thinking about it some more, I think it's possible that Kyler is waiting to see which side will pay him more before making his decision. He already knows how much Oakland As are offering him, but there is more uncertainty around how much he would make in the NFL, which is completely determined by his draft position. The combine could be a way for Kyler to get a better sense of how high NFL teams are willing to take him. As long as Kyler goes in the top 12, he should make just as much if not more than what the As are offering him.

      It is the most important decision in his young life. Very, very few get to make a choice between pro football or pro baseball. In the only season he was starter at OU he ends up 9th in MLB draft, Heisman winner and potential early round draftee in NFL draft. Eisen knows Kyler has to report to the A's Feb. 15.

He's giving up 13 million from the A's to enter the draft and if he's not picked in the top 10, there's a big drop off in $$.

      @@edeguzman89 No, he's not a leader. He's folding under this type of pressure. How is he gonna lead a team of grown ass men when he's too scared & confused when simply speaking to Dan Patrick & Rich Eisen? He doesn't know everyone he's met, he doesn't know this, he doesn't know that. Dan Patrick was looking to his dad and his asking his dad questions and Kyler just sat in a shell like a child. Will his dad be there in the locker room to lead the team? Is he gonna be on the field to lead the team? You a man or a boy? IDK what sport he loves the most, IDK what kind of person he is, IDK anything about him other than these interviews. IDC how much talent a peson has, if you can't take control and lead a team... I'd rather take a trash player who has leadership skills and can handle the heat. Then we can at least build up his game and possibly turn him into a star. You're not gonna be able to turn this kid into a leader and the face of a franchise.
