What I personally know is the unit (and a disguised master asia) is assigned to the player on a bonus mission for SD gundam g generation final. You're expected to survive an arena battle against various characters from the gundam multiverse and some of them are the MC/final boss of their respective series.
Master Asia defeated mobile suits with his hands, in his Master Gundam he near invincible. He pretty much out performs every mobile suit pilot in the franchise
When u can control a gundam with your body and fight like it’s your own body, u will be able to do it better than someone who has to control it with a control stick. Literally Domon and master Asia are moving their gundam hands like it’s part of their body but other gundam can not do that.
The mobile fighters of G Gundam (MS for FC) Are considered super robots not trying to offend anyone but the Director of G Gundam pretty much wanted to create something more bizarre even trying to piss Bandai off thinking the animation models wouldn’t translate well into Gunpla only to find most of them had become well exactly that. The Mobile Trace system is a tribute to Daimos, and the loud screaming and calling out of attacks is basically what shonen anime and what super robot TV show does. It was made in an era where Jump was still big but starting to slow down.

Of course the word "superhuman" applies to both of them, but they're clearly not the same kind of beings.

Master Asia is my favorite character in the gundam franchise, but lol, an over reliance on weapon the gundams are a weapon by themselves, but I guess Master Asia doesn’t need a gundam since he is able to get rid of two mobile suits with his bare hands, but his student (domon) relies too much on the gundam.

I mean, lets be fair here Master Asia, you can stop an entire planet with one attack in your Gundam. Compared to that, a really powerful suit with an extremely well tuned operating system by a masterful programmer and slightly above average mobile suit pilot isn't really on your level.

Azee and Laufter, who have more practical experience, try to lecture him about it, but Mika just tells him " You can feel it, right? just rely upon THAT" his next shot is a perfect Bullseye. Azee and Laufter then say that the Aliya Vinagya is cheating. this is very much how it is piloting Mechs in BattleTech, and why MechWarriors can, without formal training, can become one via being self-taught.
