- Just another day in blyth. Dedicated to James, the lad who waves at the start of the video who unfortunately was stabbed in 2005 & died 5 days later, this video was filmed a few days before the incident

sort of it was more the people they hung around with, james redford was a good lad & didnt deserve to be killed

I live in Seaton Sluice, and i'm in blyth on a saturday night to see the indie bands at Modern World at the Quay, and it's right canny. What happened to James? When did he get killed? I'm trying to remember if i heard about it on the news. But blyth is hitting the new music scene!!! Lazy Baker has a song and a line in it says 'hand in hand in blyth with the parklife' i love blyth, me. poor auld James...x

What happened
@@Tempz_playz in the description it says that he was stabbed in 2005 a couple of days after after the video was taken who would eventually die in hospital from the stabbing 5 days after it happened.
James was the one who waved at the front of the camera at the start.

I'm curious to know what were they catapulting stones at? What is to the left of the camera? I cannot believe these guys can't find something better to do than hang around on a street corner. What a way to waste your life away!
What a piss taking video. Whoever did this ought to look in a very clear mirror. I grew up in Newcastle. No victim's amongst my friends. We didn't know any different, but we were ok. Not special or different. Life is not a dress rehearsal for anything else.

this is not living its existing, but these people do not know what living is, a good life is loads of booze plenty drugs shitty sports clothes a LCD TV playstation face book and a mountain bike (upgrade from BMX) xmas is a crisis payment from DSS and holidays are haggerston castle, low achievement grown from low aspirations handed down from parent to child, wall to wall shite ! and none of them can break the peer pressure cycle that traps them. no personnel development at school just grading !

lets be honest people blyth is about 70% scum but some areas of blyth such as ridley park,south beach and south shore are very nice areas to live in and the houses are value 200k+

@@heythere4613 christ, where do you live? The mansions in Marine Terrace or something? I'd love a house on the beach where Barry Elliot has that huge house overlooking the beach but I'd be well happy with any nice big house in a nice area of Blyth. I live just a few steps up Croft Road from this but actually lived upstairs from where this was filmed at the time it was filmed. My block of flats is really nice, used to be the old coop building years ago and still has all the original architecture from back then. Me mam lives right up the beach road and hers is lovely too but 375k must be a nice place you've got

He wasn't actually, non of the Redfords are and James was the best one out of them all. They're just scruffs and were always outside that house. I lived upstairs from the lad who's filmed this, obviously from his flat, so I'd see that everytime I looked out me bedroom window. Even if he was a smackhead, so what?
People like this are a disgrace to the community. Its no wonder Blyth gets a bad name because of kids like this - their parents want a good slapping never mind them. Its going to be a total waste of time doing the market place up aint it?
You were right there ALAN. It was a total waste of time, 'doing it up' killed the market and the town. James however was a really decent lad, as time goes by I think of him and the tragic loss and injustice his family suffered. If not for this video we might forget what the skies were like when we were young. thanks Andy
