Installing Apex Dump Valve Port on a Dry Suit

    Dealing with the leak through the dry suit dump valve.
    The leak, as you can see, comes from the thread. The valve is ok, but the its installation to the suit does not provided required water tightness.
    The reason was missing external and internal valve port. To fix this I've decided to glue the external port on the suit.

    Thank's another time for these so instructive video. I suppose that the old rubber valve has to be unglued by using a hair dryer ? Thank's for your feedback.

    Hi, thank you for your amazing videos. You use SC-4000 for everything on your videos. What do you think to use several layers of this glue for sealing the seam without tape as it is on DUI or SF-Tech drysuits? They usualy use polyurethane glues.

      Thank you for the kind words. I've tried this approach once, Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The reason being in my opinion, is that the glue creates fairly thin layer and sometimes is not able to cover well all the crevices and micro highs.
