- Short demonstration of the p-vale installation procedure. Here the Halcyon balanced p-valve is installed, but the procedure would be exactly the same for different p-valve type, except only a gasket size.
The recommended gasket size should have slightly bigger outer diameter then the diameter of the p-valve body

I installed the same valve on my fusion bullet. I didn’t use any glue. Just a gasket on the inside of the suit. Over a hundred dives later, no leaks!
Здорово! Спасибо за видео!
Hello! What do you use to punch the hole?
I have a special hole pitching tool, but it really can be cut using a small nail scissors
Hey Drysuit Project, I’ve seen some others that place the rubble gasket outside, any advance on one way or the other in your opinion (obviously you do it inside) .. thanks
It’s easier to get more “clean” looking installations when your gasket is inside. This was my reason
What grit sandpaper do you use?
Not too fine, not to coarse, no need to remove too much of the material, just remove some gloss
DO NOT USE SANDPAPER ON DRYSUIT FABRIC!!!
What’s size rubber gaskets are those?
It depends on the model of the P-Valve that you're gong to install. Ideally, the outer diameter of the gasket should be about 5-10 mm more then the diameter of the widest part of the p-valve's body. The inner hole diameter of the gasket - slightly bigger then the threaded part the p-vavle body. There are a some descent quality gasket on seaskin.co.uk
@@DrySuitProjects which product are you referring to here? Just had a look through their shop but couldn’t see gaskets. Would neoprene or latex seal off-cuts work? What about bike tyre inner-tubes?
@@cjhinchy86 latex is a bad choice since its disintegrates overtime. Neoprene will not be a good choice either. seaskin.co.uk/product-category/apparel/valves-and-hoses/pee-valves-from-sitech-and-light-monkey/
Where are you located?
Located in Israel. Started the channel to help all those divers over the world to be able to take care of their suits by themselves
@@DrySuitProjects thank you so much!
