One of the best guitar solos I've heard in a long time from a metal guitarist. Pure musicality! Miyako is special, even in this band.
This song is a f**king masterpiece... the way it builds and the message is inspirational: "Until the day you meet your end, it's not over" She's right you know. Epic build throughout the entire song. There is no other band close today.
ASAMI!! I can never decide what I love more - Her Voice, Her Stage Presence, or Her Lyrics. Just another Lovebites Masterpiece. It takes a Big Box to hold them all at this point.

Love this song! In my top 10. So beautiful. Shows off Asami's vocals and Miyako... Miyako such emotional playing and that is her strong point, in my opinion. I love their ballads and glad they do them.

Interesting comparison to Geoff Tate. The metal singer people often go to is Bruce Dickinson, but in this song I think you're more on point. They're both well inside the top 10 metal vocalists anyway, and Asami absolutely deserves that kind of praise.
I love the way this song builds. Hard to pinpoint the moment it stops being a ballad.

They have four songs with long ballad-y segments, and all of them are gorgeous. The three "E" Songs ("Edge", "Epilogue" and "Empty Daydream") and "Frozen Serenade". I actually think one mark of a truly great heavy metal band is the ability to throttle things back and do something really beautiful. Thanks for checking this out.
Standout performer of this beautiful track is Asami.
They were getting ready to go right into the last song of the night, "We the United." Edge of the World was the 2nd song of the encore. Lovebites have released 2 new live videos that have Fami on bass. Both are well worth reacting to. Hammer of Wrath is the 1st and Nameless Warrior the other. Please react to both 🙏

I became a Lovebites fan just 5 weeks ago, but already listened to all of their songs, and watched umpteen reactions of all kinds. Generally, persons reacting to Lovebites run out of praising adjectives after some songs, and I hardly ever heard opinions like "that was really cool", "that was awesome" as often as during Lovebites reaction videos. And most of the reacting people end up saying, "Well, that was, once again, simply Lovebites. What else is there to say?" 😂

Having experienced the abrupt end you should check out the song that followed at the Five Of A Kind show - We The United. It was the the encore and show closer so please let it play right out to see Haruna change her shoes and take a bow. 😄
The ending was cut off because they were about to go right into the next song
I love their new record, but I miss slow breaks, and Miyako should really explore more of her bluesy side.

It ended abruptly because it was already the beginning of the next song. I'm totally alright with backing tracks as long as it doesn't take major part of the performance. It is just another extra layer, just like hiring an extra musician for the song. It is a kind of gimmick of effect.
TOO BAD LOVEBITES DOESN'T HAVE A GREAT KEYBOARD PLAYER, THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO HIRE A STUDIO MUSICIAN TO CREATE A BACKING TRACK.
