I am a mother of 3 girls and widowed for 12 years now and this is the reason why I don't want to get married agiain. I got married when I was 21 and widowed at 30, now I'm 42 and I choose to be a single for the sake of my girls we really never know what happens in the future.BETTER SAFE THAN NEVER.....as they say.

Love should not dull your ability to critically think and risk assess. And when you have children that is your duty. Then she decided she needed to find out who she was married to because she had "children to protect". Shouldn't she have been more responsible and concerned about her children's safety BEFORE she married him?! Then the PI told her to take photos of the 2 social security cards; but she confronts the husband she doesn't trust instead!? Boggles the mind...

As this woman is telling her story I'm seriously concerned that too many women allow themselves to be suckered in by the Charming Man. That woman's alarm was ringing like crazy when she sensed the evil in him outside his house, and immediately knew she must not go inside. She obeyed her instinct that day and left - and probably saved her own life. She could feel the anger emanating from him. On his past history of homicides, it's a fair bet he'd have drugged, raped and maybe even killed her.
But we now know he was playing a longer game, to take control of her finances and steal every cent she had. His means to achieve that was obviously marriage - and the wedding proposal was only too predictable.
Men and women are far too quick to accept compliments and flattery as their due, instead of questioning whether their superior financial situation is their real attraction for the new boyfriend or girlfriend. It's cynical I know, but in the fast moving world of internet dating, you cannot assume genuine motives within 2 minutes of meeting someone, as so many sadly do!
Caution is the watchword - and it's shocking the lady in this video put herself and her three daughters' lives at risk by unwittingly moving a double killer and rapist into the family home. As you rightly say, the red flags were everywhere (a huge one was him producing no relatives, and claiming they'd all died in plane and road crashes!)

Wow this brought back some bad memories of a guy I was involved with many years ago. I was so in love with him, anything he said, any excuse he gave me on why he worked on weekends.... anyway, I knew where he worked so on his birthday, I decided to surprise him at the office with a $600 watch as a gift. He wasn't there when I arrived and the receptionist told me to wait if I wanted....then we had some small talk....then she asked me...you know that he's married right? My heart just fell and I was silent for awhile. I was in shock, really...I was so blind and stupid...even lent him $10k as down payment for a house we were planning to buy even. Long story short, I confronted him when he finally got in. It was a mess. I ended up screaming and leaving. The following day he called and apologized..I told him it's over and I wanted my money back! He said I'd get it in two installments sure...I said ok otherwise my brother in law would make a visit to his office instead. Anyway, I got my money back eventually and never saw him again. I was a fool in love. But I learnt my lesson and unfortunately never loved again. I couldn't trust another male again. I'm glad this lady was smart to investigate him. Thank God they're all ok. Men can be pests and convincing conmen. Sigh.
So in the end he won. He’s living a happy and loving life in a committed relationship and you’re a single and bitter cat lady.

Dang! That's the scariest episode like this I've seen and it just kept going on and on and on and on. Thought she'd never get out. This was so scary I was checking my locks and blocked the door...and, I'm in Cambodia! lol. With a little research, I was glad to find out this murderous freak died in 2018. Hope Ms. Danielsen and her children have some peace now. Whew.
It's always the same thing. Women say " I didn't WANT to believe it". I even had a coworker tell me that when her husband suddenly upped and left her. We told her he had found someone else, someone younger and later she told us we were right and that she just didn't WANT to believe it.

What an intense predicament she found herself in! She did everything pretty good (except the jiont bank account) until she agreed to take the pill. And then she got his fingerprints from glasses , oh! She is not a women easily conned or manipulated! Shes actually so much smarter than so many . Hired private investigator, took pics of documents, gathered prints! Bad cops for leaving her to fend for herself that morning, they should have helped her out more!
