I found out that it's part of the act, actually. Princess is supposed to come off as vicious in the act. He did that in every show. He'd let Princess corner him, he'd fall back against the cage and ask the audience "Are you scared?!" Only took me until recently to discover this ._. I recorded the same act. I also notice that the lions growling were trained to growl to scare the audience into thinking they'd attack.
If you watch closely you can see the hand gesture he uses to control the claw out action and those two are trained to do other things too, like lie down instead of leave.
I think circuses should be banned they belong in the wild not cages you can tell they are very unhappy it is not right different cats dont like to be next to each other you can tell they are all very uncompfortable

Well circuses that use animals in their shows are SCRICTLY watched after the terrorist attacks on the Ringling brothers in 1998. Some animal advocates released 4 lions and 7 tigers, who went on to kill 3 humans and almost all of each other. They injured 5 more and were all shot at the site. This kind of thing could end circuses as a whole, so they are regulated alot. These cats don't hate their life, they're just communicating in their own ways.

Watching this actually brought tears to my eyes, to see the domination of these proud beautiful cats that should have been spending their lives on the open plains with their families, hunting to survive, bringing up their offspring and living a natural life, not in a barren cage where they could not display their basic instincts. Just sickening that these madmen and the audiences that pay to view them have no empathy whatsoever for our Wildlife. Humans are destroying our planet slowly but surely.

I’ve always had a grudge against circuses that use animals like this. I believe animals are wild, and deserve to be kept in the wild where they belong. Not in cages to be tamed and trained for these sorts of acts.

The Male Lion is the most tamed of all because he is just there being not mad or annoyed unlike the female lion who really gets mad at him. And the tiger is tamed also
They use to whip animals when they're tiny cubs so they'll remember how harmful being whipped is. As grown animal that whip wouldn't harm a 500 pounds male tiger or lion. If any animal realise how harmless whip is they'll be sacrified.

The title of this video shouldn't described as "fearless" as the idiot "lion-tamer" is doing something he shouldn't be doing in the first place. Ppl like this aren't conservationists, scientists nor animal advocates; they are low lives out to catch a quick buck at an animal's expense. In my opinion, Circuses, all of them which have animals involved should either be strictly regulated, monitored or even banned.

Well circuses that use animals in their shows are SCRICTLY watched after the terrorist attacks on the Ringling brothers in 1998. Some animal advocates released 4 lions and 7 tigers, who went on to kill 3 humans and almost all of each other. They injured 5 more and were all shot at the site. This kind of thing could end circuses as a whole, so they are regulated alot. These cats don't hate their life, they're just communicating in their own ways.
