Not a reliable source. They literally feed to tigers 10+ kg a day. An average tiger eats the same amount during the whole ear, almost half of that.

Ummmmm I dunno bud, probably because they are well fed? also if you look at old circus pictures, the Lions they used to have were HUGE, I personally suspect it could be in addition to being fed a lot, the male Lions have a growth promoting gene but Lionesses have a growth inhibiting gene, it could be that Lionesses get stressed in circuses which results in somehow weakening that gene and hence the resulting male cubs grow large, or I am just overthinking because the lions are just very well fed, although abused asf.

Maybe tigers have longer body length but the full grown lion always looks bigger with their height, mane and bigger upper body.
At 4:46 it looks like one of the lions is comforting the other lion as if they both knew this is not their intended purpose, but this is all that they know so it's the only way to survive.
