Married is nothing. It's a legal paperwork. Legal separation is the moral issue. I've been legally separated for 12 years. If I divorce my ex I lose my health, dental and all other benefits through his workplace and my separation agreement ensures that I continue with that until retirement age. Also if you divorce your "husband" you no longer have any rights at all to ie. if he is in an accident in a coma or seriously injured you aren't legally family any longer. There are reasons to stay married and just seek legal separation. All a divorce is, is the paperwork to make the legal separation final so you have no further "legal" claims with the spouse. So yes, there are benefits to be separated but not divorced.

You don't understand what a marriage contract is then. If they are legally separated from their spouses they are legally and morally SINGLE. A marriage contract being broken by a divorce is strictly paperwork. It has nothing to do with morality or anything else.

They are not legally separated though. As in they did not go to court and file documents for legal separation. They just separated and went their own way.

My ex wife tried that ghosting shit, i filed where abouts unknown and the court put a notice in the paper and sends a notice to last known address, and if they dont reply back in 60 days. The divorce gets granted and all that u requested is approved.

I think the wife moved on but when they were sleeping together it was after the husband and girlfriend were living together. The separation was still new. The wife did mention about signing the papers but he didn't want to meet halfway and she mentioned that when she spoke to the girlfriend over the phone. I think he still loves his wife and was hoping to get back together with her since his cheating caused the separation. He blamed not being divorce on the wife until she walked in and put his head down because he k ew his gig was up. He is still friends with the brother so he knew where she was but I think that was him dragging his feet to be able to use that as an excuse to the girlfriend.

He knew what he was getting into when decided to be with her, and when he proposed. Therefore, it's not a problem. The kids' father(s), might even still be in the picture. And he's not by himself. She's actively raising her children also.I really don't see the problem.

I understand that relationships get complicated and some have very unique situations but most of the episodes since the revamp haven't been everyday, real-life situations and she has not been critical of their situations or given solid advice that can be applies across the board.
